Key forward Aaron Naughton has moved one step closer to making his return from injury.
The rising star has missed the past three games, after injuring his ankle in the Bulldogs’ round four win against Sydney.
But he has now begun some low-level running following surgery
“Aaron is going well after his syndesmosis ankle surgery,” medical services manager, Chris Bell, said.
“He has commenced running and will continue to progress over the next couple of weeks.
“We’re optimistic that we’ll see him back in the next four to six weeks.”

The Bulldogs had a clean sheet on the injury front on Friday across both the AFL match and scratch match.

Forward Sam Lloyd made a successful return from his shoulder injury, while Ryan Gardner has resumed training following a calf injury.

Injury list

Ryan Gardner (calf) test
Josh Dunkley (ankle) 3-5 weeks
Taylor Duryea (quad) 3-5 weeks
Lin Jong (ankle) 4-6 weeks
Aaron Naughton (ankle) 4-6 weeks

So they'll all be fit the week after the nine games in six weeks block ends.. Not ideal.

List looking good.

Fergus Greene (hand) – test
Josh Schache (groin) – test
Hayden Crozier (toe) – 1-2 weeks
Taylor Duryea (quad) – 1-3 weeks
Lin Jong (ankle) – 2-4 weeks

Jinxed now :(

Can’t wait to have Duryea back, he’s actually a very good small defender. Makes us stronger back there but have no idea how he’ll fit in.

Injury list

Callum Porter (groin) – 1 week
Lin Jong (ankle) – 2-3 weeks
Rhylee West (groin) – 2-3 weeks
Easton Wood (hamstring) – 2-3 weeks
Laitham Vandermeer (hamstring) – 6 weeks

Lin Jong is not making much progress. It says 2-3 weeks today and below is a post from 10 August (3 weeks ago) saying 2-4 weeks.
Also I think West was 2-3 weeks last week wasn't he?

This year was far and away his best. Sucks he can't get a decent rub at it to show what he can offer
He'll still be 27 at the start of the 2021 season. Has played 64 games and who knows he might yet crack 100. If not for injury he'd be pretty close by now.
