Probably just the 1 downgrade:

1 of Close, Woodcock, Bytel or Rivers to $117k M/F rookie K.Coleman (whether he is named in Rd-16 or not).

This will leave 4 trades left... With 1 downgrade & 2 upgrades required to finalise team.

How many trades do we get leading into Rd-17? Is it 2 or 3?

Well I guess I'm not getting Taranto for Shuey after another 70something score

Need a Shuey replacement, just $30k in the bank, so around $500k to spend on a MID or FWD

Sorting by 5 rd average:
Gray, Greenwood, Billings, Bailey, Shiel, Parish, McClugg, Parker, Greene, Telly

Any of them? Anybody I'm missing?

I have the same decision to make. Thinking Telly at this stage, can go big and surely Shuey out helps his scoring?

I'd get Greenwood if I didn't have him from that list, also like McLuggage/Bailey. I only have 18K so less to options.

Really unsure of what to do.
In 2 prelims and one semi.
Both of us have Grundy in semi.

5 Trades left $204k in bank.
One certain trade is Rankine-Greenwood.

Nic Nat concerns me. To get Gawn now I’ll have to use another 2 trades due to Nic Nat Spudding it and Gawn smashing it.

Not sure I want to only take 2 trades into Prelim and maybe Grand final.

J Kennedy maybe.

I knew that Shuey trade we discussed a couple of months ago wasn't going to end well!!

I'm in the same boat, looking for a sub $510K midfielder (or forward). Greenwood as a DPP might provide some extra flexibility, but it shouldn't be the driver of the decision.

Other candidates would include JPK, Coniglio. Until last night Coniglio was going to be my #1 choice, but now I'm unsure.

$330k in the bank, 6 trades and a final I need to win, means:

NN or Grundy -> Gawn
Rankine -> Greenwood
Houston or Hurn -> Haynes

Noice.

I'm thinking $279k in the bank, 5 trades and a few finals I need to win, means:

NN or Grundy -> Gawn
Close -> Greenwood
A rookie worth $200K+ -> a cheaper rookie to fund it

This would technically finish my side.

I have Draper at R3, so I might see what he scores/how the round is going before deciding whether NicNat can go for Gawn or I have to panic trade Grundy and hope NicNat extracts the digit and posts a useful score.

Either way I think it means Draper gets the bullet one round later to fund a luxury upgrade to one of the big gun mids (that I now have none of!). Or injury sidewaysing.

5 trades left and Trying to work out best possible outcomes.
Was hoping to bring in 4 decent players with 1 downgrade but if Gawn is one of those players then it may not be possible. :think:

For example;

OUTS ---------------------------------
CASH 312.3
A McGrath 476.2*
B Starcevich 290*
S Draper 324*
S Wicks 255*
H Schoenberg 237* (H Clark 396)
Total 1894.5 (2053.5 trading Clark instead of the Berg)

Ins ---------------------------------
M Gawn 660* (or R Marshall 550.5)
T Boak 535.8 (Cheaper? J Kennedy?)
P Ladhams 459.9 (for ruck/foward cover?)
M Walters 470* (Walters no good now? Who else? Cheaper?)
Cash Doughnut 102.4

Total 2228.1 (2118.6 getting Marshall instead of Gawn)

Can;t you wait another week for Schoenberg ? Looks like a 270k prospect. Can I suggest Touk Miller 20k cheaper than boak

According to the TooSerious calculator Schoenberg will still need to play another game just to get around the 240k mark.
Will definitely be one of the last one's to trade for sure.
:thumbsu:

Why are people trading bye players? Only 2 teams not playing with 5-6 sc relevant players. Most should still be fielding 18-20 premos with the bye players out. Do people realise it's best 18 scoring?

I have the trades left to bring Grundy back in as required.

22 premos vs 18-20 premos is a safer bet in finals.
