Thiem has always been a little disappointing off clay for mine. Although looking at the final 8 you could accuse all of Thiem, Zverev, Shapovalov, Coric and Rublev of being disappointing players. Would never back any of them as faves.

Thiem is around $1.28 against De Minaur. If you told me pre tourney De Minaur would be in this position I would have taken it. No hedging bets for me, letting it ride.

Ill bet on Thiem to win 3-1 sets betting at whatever odds, last I saw was around $4.50 or so.

Thiem is a big hitter, and ADM seems to not be afraid of the big hitters (having taken sets off Nadal, Zeverev and Shapovalov this year). I think at least a set is up for grabs for him.
