I was living in the UK when Kewell and Viduka were playing for Leeds and it seemed like every second Aussie you ran into there was a Leeds supporter.

Once they got relegated and Kewell and Viduka had left those Aussie Leeds supporters were a lot harder to find.

Why Johnstone and not a filler like Whiteman, to get 2 bites of the captain's cherry?

I think we can afford a 3-4-3 in the 1st week, with Sterling on the bench. It'll save a transfer later.

WOL have late games for the first 3 weeks, but not sure after that.
I usually find the teams playing Europa are the best ones to target for most weeks with a late kickoff.

I remember a few seasons back, Auba got a brace and assist @FUL, after coming off the bench for 28 mins.
Given he scored 4 braces against relegation teams last season (WAT & NOR), and given his form against City, CHE and LIV, I think he's a must.
I know his away form under Arteta has been really poor (2 goals in 11), but he seems to have adapted well to the new system.

Starting with the same tactic as last year with 2 bottom priced keepers, however I don’t think it will be as profitable as the Henderson/Ramsdale combo was. Subject to change depending on line ups, pretty sure all of the first week is free transfers until teams are locked out.

Leaves me with a spare 1mil:

Johnstone, Areola
Laporte, Digne, Gomez, Tierney, Vinagre
Sterling, Maddison, Saka, Bergwijn, Lallana
Salah, Auba, Batman

You'll regret not having Ndidi. He's a gift, given his history and LEI's initial run of fixtures.

well, i am an idiot ... and i would've made him captain too

Yeah not having Salah hurts after he scored a hat trick, my strikers are Aubameyang, Kane and Werner, I passed on Salah due to his higher price.

I've got TAA too, 1 point for his price isn't a great return.
