So isn't it luko , Rankine , Ben King and Jez finished their low two year deal this year , what about Ballard and Powell contract extension and Anderson , Rowell , Flanders and sharp contract kick in after next year . Not including paying pre covid salary for Thompson , swallow and witts .

Weller extension also same year where Anderson and Rowell get high salary .

If GCS don't have salary cap problem , they won't let go of scrimshaw and ah Chee ,Lyons cheaply. Pearce Hanley is a great example of spending money on rehab more than playing or extend 5 year contract for Thompson .

Dew doesnt seem to prefer diesel/engine room mids like Lyons and maybe Brodie is one also. Made his mind up too quick on Lyons. Hanley worth keeping tho!

Hodge made a good point the other night. He said that in 2018 when Dew came in, Lyons had ankle injuries and wasn't covering the ground as well as he could have so to Dew it made it look like he was slow but now after a few years of getting it right, he is now in great form
