At R16 in this difficult year worth acknowledging the resilience of Bont, Macrae, Keath, Wallis, English, Baz, Williams and Daniel for backing up time and again for all 16 games.

Good work from our conditioning and medical teams to get 8 players through this far too. Our relatively small injury list is a feather in their cap. Many bleat in here when the injuriy toll mounts but credit is due when the opposite is true.

I'd single out English for praise. He's been given a monster workload this year before his body is really ready for it.

At times he's struggled and at times has barely been able to lift his legs but he's kept at it manfully and was really good last week.

Once he's had an off season to recuperate, this will have been a monster year of development for him
