In the world you could play a Benny Hill track over some of our play and it wouldn't sound out of place. When your letting Mason Cox kick goals on the run against you, you have some soul searching to do.
With a slippery slippery ball under heavy pressure everyone is going to make mistakes.
Cox has had 2 good moments for the whole game not exactly a pant

Cox; 8 disposals, 7 contested, efficiency 88%, 7 marks, 4 contested, 2 goals, 5 score involvements. Under heavy pressure

If we want to win next week we can't play Harbs.

But he's been such a good clubman for us, you can't drop him for his last game. Real dilemma.

Other option is we re-sign him to play a lot of 2s next year, sort of like we did for Rischitelli and how Hawks have down for Burgoyne.

bring back the sub rule and play with 3 on the bench for 3 quarters?

Where the better team for the majority of the night, our bottom 5 is just not up to scratch and it cost us tonight.
Effort was great, game plan was good just not executed well, skills need some work under pressure.
Noah and Powell best on for me with Miller 3rd

16cms taller then anyone in our back line. Hard to get up there when we don't have anyone with the strength to knock him out of the air
Yep but shouldn't be playing man on man with him. Should stand off him and jump into him at every contest. Much better chance of bringing the ball to ground then marking.

Burgoyne is not a complete and utter embarrassment big difference.
Harbrow can't kick, defend, keep his feet, contest the ball. If fact he can't do anything of value anymore. Nor can Holman.

We are 90% there but that last 10% is bloody hard to lift to.
Some big decisions to be made with the list over the off season.
It’s frustrating
The VFL umpires
The difference in the breaks, we were tired at the end off our 4 day break but The Precious Pies off a Bye weren’t.
But Christ almighty can we please get that extra 10% which is composure, hardness and brains when it really matters.

Add that to the list of frustrating losses. Played better than I thought but really could've won it. As long as we learn next year and start winning these ones. Next year is when the true test is.

On Harbrow, He looks injured on top of old. Knowing our history I think he'll go on but play mostly NEAFL like Rischa of last year.

Can’t wait to see us set up the Hawks for a massive 2021 with a massive win, and for us fans to go into 2021 bewildered by Harbrow etc getting a game and rueing another year of lost chances and looking at a mass exodus but this year based on Dew playing favourites
Just really cramming all the bad things in there at once, huh?

We are positive when warranted, negative when warranted.

If you are happy to accept this performance then you will always be a happy man. I envy you.
Was this performance not acceptable? Our bottom 5 would be the worst bottom 5 in the league so we are effectively playing 17 v 22 out there. We where missing 3 clear best 22 players tonight that would of cleaned out 3 of the bottom 5 so i thought we did pretty well. Skills weren't great but the thinking and the ideas where. Great base to build off
