SR on Tuesday: "We want you to come in 4:30 Thursday for an appointment."
Me: "Sorry, I've got a temp casual job driving a truck while the owner is off sick, I start at 5:30 in the morning and finish between 6 and 7pm. I work half a day on Friday, I've got all Friday afternoon free."
SR: "Well we can only see you Thursday."
Me: "Well I'm sorry, but I will be on the road. Can we make it Friday, or Friday next week?"
SR: "I'll get back to you."

SR machine: Hi, you've called SR, our hours are 9:30 to 5:00, please call back during office hours
Yep, nothing better than cutting people off therefore creating more work when the non compliant job seeker comes in sometimes pissed off at their consultant for them not doing what they have agreed to in the first place.
That's what i dislike about Centerlink.
Their systems are broken.
They are horribly inefficient. They spend thousands of hours talking to people that they shouldn't need to, about things that should be routine.
