Steven looks the same.
I’d look at Clark or maybe Narkle.

Steven looks the same.
Our AFL team lacks a quality small quick defender and a lively small forward that can convert on the scoreboard and also pressure defenders.
I would priotise these 2 areas before another average paced mid like Crouch or Viney.
Adam Saad or Zac Williams along with the continued progression of Clark should fix the first problem. Would love to have a crack at Tippa, he would be ideal.

Top 10* baby!Positive news is the Tom Morris is reporting we have secured pick 10. The Shockers deficit from their F/S picks last year and their ladder position this year means that they slide to pick 11.
Bonus
A lot of negative about Steven
The guy has had 3 or 4 weeks out and has been stabbed
Tough season
I believe he will warm to the equation come finals
Tough little nugget and will give his all
The extra mid allows for moves like Danger up forward without which we would have lost today
Keep him there in my view/
Certainly two areas of need. We’ve drafted quite a few small forwards recently but as yet haven’t got one that hits the scoreboard with any reliability. Maybe Tarca or Evans can be that player?
We def need more run and quality kicking out of defence. Clark should help in that regard. Williams would be perfect but would cost a bomb.
Top 10* baby!
*at least until academy picks smash us back
Noah Gown has been delisted from the bombers. I know some on here were keen on him when he was drafted 2 years ago. Depending on what other things happen he could be someone to look at.
I know most players are delisted for a reason. But he’s still a young player who hasn’t played a game yet so if he was worth a shot then can’t see how that’s changed.
I’d look at Clark or maybe Narkle.

Jack needs some continuity not a game every 3 weeks. I think he has a lot more upside than say Close who is good for the occasional tackle and goal. Fogarty’s disposal was terrible last week. The other two not in the frame at the minute.I don't know how Jack Steven is getting a game ahead of players like Narkle, Constable, Fogarty, Close etc . And i don't care what position he plays they are all better than him currently
That could be true, than goes with guys like Clarke and Constable in the way give them 1 game and see what they gotJack needs some continuity not a game every 3 weeks. Bit odd that of all the players we have been linked with, none are key defenders which looms as our biggest Achilles heel in the finals.
He was stabbed, but he was back training fairly soon after which suggests it was not a major injury.A lot of negative about Steven

I think Bews is being a bit underrated in that comment, agree that Clark is also a very good player and would love to know what happened for him to fall out of favour when he was so important last year. And are you being a little bit hard on Close? I felt he was really missed yesterday, in both defence and crumbing. Our AFL team lacks a quality small quick defender and a lively small forward that can convert on the scoreboard and also pressure defenders.

Be interesting if Taylor and Hendo are gone and we don’t recruit a ruck meaning Blitz is playing the same role.Bit odd that of all the players we have been linked with, none are key defenders which looms as our biggest Achilles heel in the finals.
