Whatever the plan is for dealing with Hawkins, I hope it works better than the last one did.

Doing better in the midfield is the best way to stop Hawkins and any fwd really

We haven't been great the last couple of games but people expecting us to look and play the same with our proper number one ruck back in the side are kidding themselves.

Is it bad that all that came to mind for me when I saw this was 119?
That's interesting what comes to mind, its what draws out the emotions (or laughter?) that is remembered
I say that because I always remember that Geelong were our first win in the AFL (Rd 3 1997) - insignificant game otherwise but just sticks in the mind.

Team selection will be fascinating for this game for both teams, hopefully Port Adelaide will realize they have more forwards than just big Charlie.

Chris Scott versus Ken Hinkley is a battle of the big brains.

JohnZ: Oh, Port to win eeeeezilee. *Expecting nothing less than a win come Game day*
Well Port will have the Umpires and Chris Scott's mind boggling team selections in their favour (will he drop Hawkins like he did in 2013, or will he play Blicavs as 1st ruck again like last year against the Pies), not to mention the crowd. Would be a choke not to win it easily.

Was pumping Cats tyres a couple of weeks back, and what dya know, they have been lesser a team since then. I reckon they are liable to get their mojo back sooner or later and will be tough to beat. Danger up front turned the last game, Hinkley needs to be ready for him and Jack. However they need to not rely on those 2 blokes. If their defence can contain the Port big forward and they should win.

Port didnt super impress me against my rabble, Cats will be a different match up with a more cunning coach the xfactor.

I still for some reason think of Port like a 7th-12th team. It's hard to believe they finished on top. I think the year with the way it's been and great start has helped them a bit and they've gathered momentum from it. I don't know if it's just me or other people think the same.

I have Geelong winning by 28 points as they are the more finals experienced team.
