Well that depends on the club. If lets say, he captained West Coast in the past 5-10 years, then yes. Fantastic.

Captained Carlton, Saints, Melbourne, Brisbane (pre-Fagan), Essendon, North or Gold Coast however? That'd probably get the same level of scrutiny and doubt as captaining Adelaide.

Only clubs with similar records whilst he was playing here are comparable though really. So somewhere in between West Coast and the ones you listed. I'm happy to hold fire and pay on results

Our best two performances this year came when VB was unavailable.

If he was coaching against Richmond, there's no way Sloane gets moved forward.

The sooner we give this clown a DCM, the better.

He is clearly the main one pushing for Crouch in his midfield. Get the oldies back together!

We raved about our new coaches 2 years ago but VB was always the weak link.

We should be turning over at least 1 assistant coach every year.

I was very unimpressed with VB's most recent presser, particularly that question where the journo asked how they stack up against Hawthorn and his response was something like "we don't compare ourselves to other clubs". That answer doesn't fly at all. Hawks are a club that are right next to us on the ladder, similar stage of a rebuild, of course it's fair to compare the two clubs.

Thats exactly what a premiership table is, a comparison.

The funny part was just before VB trotted out that line, he looked around at the ceiling. It's like the tell you get when a small child is lying to you.

Let's all go to VB's for poker night, we'll be able to pay down our mortgages.
