Re-signing Keays was an absolute no-brainer.

Re-signing Strachan is a bit of a head scratcher. They must not be expecting list sizes to come down too much. Not a good sign for Gallucci though.

1 year extension for Strachan. Don't rate him but ok I suppose. is it still rookie pay? Would like us looking for a kid in the draft.

The one year contract for Strachan is interesting. My take is we have our eye on a young ruckman to develop and we are retaining Strachan in case ROB isn’t able to play every game. It also says that there is no way that we want the Berg or Frampton to fill in as the number one ruck.

For thoses who think we should just rookie list the best ruckman in the SANFL, he plays for the Panthers .

my take is a back up ruck at bottom dollar is seen as a need - Frampton can't take ruck for full games if ROB gets injured where strachan could
