Ugly game but at least it was close and therefore, entertaining. Umpiring wasn’t great and ended up favouring the visitors. Awful deliberate call in the last 10 minutes; only the umpires, one-eyed fans and BT thought that was the correct decision

Two things ....

Port should not have let Richmond take so many telling marks in their F50 in the last, unforgivable.

The umpires seemed to let the Richmond defenders maul Dixon all game with no penalty, kept pushing him out unfairly in the marking contests.

At the beginning of the season, everyone was talking about Hinkley on the chopping block and other mediocre season. They've exceeded all expectations, and have some great young kids coming through.

Put it down to experience and look forward to challenging again in 2021.

Don’t think port took 1 risk to win that game. Down the line footy in wet conditions.. no wonder they only scored 10 times for the game

Good point, they had control of the ball for large portions of the game but never really looked like scoring.

Congrats to Richmond - winning a close away prelim will be a big boost to their reputation as one of the great teams.
