If Pattinson is going to play (which he shouldn't) then he has to bowl with the new ball.

Why play Pattinson in the first place he’s awful in t20 cricket

Then don't play Pattinson. The Indians have Mitchell McClenaghan, who provides them with a left handed option. Or Coulter-Nile, whom they are paying 8cr for.

And alternate is playing an extra bat in Chris Lynn or Shane Rutherford. The Indians already have Bumrah, Boult, Chahar, Hardik, Krunal, and Pollard whom can all comfortably bowl four overs.

NCN is injured or was at least a game ago. They are hoping he’s fit mid series. Relying on Pollards pies for 4 isn’t going to work.

McCleghehan is even worse than Pattinson!
 
Who is the female commentator? She sounds Australian, although maybe Kiwi.

I've been watching for only ten minutes, but so far she sounds like she knows what she's talking about, speaks well, impressive change of pace from the usual tokens.

By the way these fake crowd noises are atrocious.

She used to do footy, right? Name seems familiar.

Our squad seems to be bigger than that yours, which means a longer list of bats.
Maybe the Australian selectors need to deepen the national squad, this should put pressure on current XI to perform, specially in the shorter formats.

The annoying thing is the full match is in 50fps but the mini is in 25fps... such a weird thing about mini's is their limited frame rates, which does have a detrimental effect on the experience :(
 
Man; Smith clearly left his brain back in Australia. In both the T20 tour of the UK and the IPL he's been completely brain dead. Doesn't look in bad form technically, just consistently throwing his wicket away moronically every. Single. Time. Several crazy inappropriate slogs and suicide runs that were never there have been truly bizarre.

I'm sure the blow to the head in the nets didn't help but he is miles off the pace.

Let's hope he can make the switch to red ball cricket this summer as seamlessly as he did from the WC19 to the Ashes.

Agar and Zampa have been doing an excellent job over the last dozen or so T20I games as our 2 spinners. Also he wasn't bowling again until a few months ago because of his action.

India have riches for batsmen in the top 3 of the batting order but have absolute s**t after that. For some reason their dudes don't adjust very well to batting lower other than very few exceptions. Of today's crop, probably Pant and H. Pandya are the only ones in a T20I format you can "almost" count on. Even they aren't all that consistent but can provide the quick bang bomb runs that most Indian batsmen can't (others take too long to get going).
