Having said that, Leigh Matthews voted in 2008 and gave 0 votes for Ablett back then with a 34 possession game with 2 goals.

Im trying to find a bit more information about who Lauren Arnell is.
Good sleuthing.

Eade also gave no votes to Ablett that day.

Maybe Matthews might try to balance the equations with a few votes for the Son of God today :thumbsu:

Norm Smith panel: Leigh Matthews (3AW, Chairperson), Lauren Arnell (ABC), Malcolm Blight (SEN SA), Damian Barrett (AFL.com.au) and Peter Ryan (The Age).

Any potential biases with this bunch?

Lol too many people who haven't touched a sherrin in their life.

Peter ryan? Barrett? *smh*

Bolton has the cleanest hands of any player on the field in slippery conditions.

I remember he was prime-Ablett like in a slippery game earlier in the season, might have been against the Bombers.

2+ goals @ 7
3+ goals @ 26

Not a day for betting on goalkickers in general, but this guy might be made for these conditions.

I'd put a bet on him for the Norm as well but I'm already committed to the Ablett Plane.

Last day on the punt with the Cox plate today

Blighty never rated forwards when he coached the Crows. Doesnt rate goalkickers, make of that what you will.

When Modra went down, he didnt think much of Shane Ellen booting 5 goals in a GF.

Today, that would win you the NS.

Also taking my favorite bet mostly because you are alive all game and it salutes a heap of the time.

Scores level at the end of any Qtr at $8.50 for $25. The wet weather brings this bet into play massively IMO.

How are people multi betting the norm smith medal?

I've tried to multi Ablett Norm into other things, cannot do it on SB.

EDIT: Don't worry, worked it out :thumbsu:

Not necessarily, i think it was luke hodge on SEN today saying he thinks it favours geelong more.

Granted, geelong play a possession style. However, not having the time and space as per normal will affect Richmond to a greater extent. Geelong are still a decent wet weather team IMO with elite ball users

TAB are allowing Norm Smith Medal multi with Goals scored. eg Martin to win NS, and Martin to kick 3+ Goals

We will get more than 5 goals per team IMO or 10 total for the match.

Tigers will get 7+ easily and the wet will not bother them at all. Cats will need 10 goals if they want to win this GF.

Alright, my bets are all on.

Most centre around:

Bolton for goals
Draw at end of regular time (and also 'any other result')
Ablett for the Norm
Cats win
Total points unders (117.5 and 106.5 iirc)

Good luck to everybody :thumbsu:
