Essendon will struggle but remember that Daniher/Fantasia barely played this year, Saad is a loss but hopefully we can find a plug and play for him

6 7 and maybe 8 could potentially be ready to go

North on other hand are coachless and could be it

You have mentioned Daniher and Fantasia (both not even going to be at your club) but fail to mention North Melbourne’s injuries.

We had bad injuries this year as well

Hard to go past North, they were the worst team by the end of the season despite Adelaide finishing below them.

They are losing quite a few experienced players too and going full rebuild mode so you'd expect them to get worse before they get better.

Essendon might be a chance too, they were one of the worst teams by the end of the season and like North are losing some quality experienced players.

Can't see Adelaide going back to back, they were playing some pretty good football towards the end of the season and will be tough to beat at home.

Hawthorn 100%, easily the worst list in the league

They still have one of the best coaches in the league which will probably make them good enough to avoid the spoon, they are a long way off playing finals though.

The dons.
No quality KPP at either end of the ground.
No size in the midfield and only a rookie ruckman.
But most importantly, reckon the rookie coach already has a target on his back ...
Of course he does, he's not an "Essendon" person!

North for Spooners, gutted their list and will probably field a very young side with who knows as coach.

Hawks & Essendon other contenders but a fair step above North.

Collingwood are imploding, cultural issues, salary cap trouble and a coach and President who have been there too long.

bucks is a decent coach. Their list isn’t great he does well. I could them outside the 8 but wooden spoon seems really unlikely

north would have to be 1.01 for the spoon. They looked putrid and have dropped a coach and a bunch of players.

seeing as you at least tried but I think, even though we had a poor year some other candidates are firm favourites ahead of us.

North Melbourne - firm favorites to take out the spoon. Gutted a list that was already devoid of high end talent coming through. The decent talent they do have appear to be leaving.

Adelaide - You don't discount the previous years (2020) winner out of the equation. More unlikley than unlikely but not impossible.

Sydney - like Adelaide could go either way. They have talent but do they have the depth to cover injuries?

Essendon - Firmly in the conversation and probably one key forward short of locking out of this conversation.

I mean we've heard for 3 years that even if Raz and Daniher were fit we'd still be s**t coz they're flash in the pan overrated players.

Now we lose them and we're gonna win the spoon coz they left?

🤷‍♂️
