So if Adelaide match bid on crouch, and saints pivot to Treloar, do we offer pick 5 for crouch?

I don't believe we do and definitely hope we don't. Whilst he could be a good acquisition for our club at the right price, Pick 5 is miles too high a price to be paying, especially with his injury history and his recent off field history,

Article in the SA advertiser today on tom Powell from the sturt f.c. A ball magnet mid who won the u18 sanfl medal and great to see barracks for the GC suns. Predicted to be late first round early second round pick. Would be good to keep the south Australian trend going.
Think Powell is a bit of an accumulator type.
Seems to be a bit of a late bolter.
Not sure how he fits in with our drafting plans with all academy etc.. but good to see we've got a few fans amongst t he draftees.

I had hoped we’d moved on from this kind of mentality when considering mental health conditions.
Guess we’re still stuck in distant past.
I work in a hospital so I see a great deal of people suffering with mental illness, I see people that are very ill . I don’t consider Treloar to be one of those, there is a difference between illness and entitlement, pandering to those that are entitled is not good for them or those around them.

Of course it’s only my opinion but thanks for the judgement

Why do you feel the need to discuss Treloar mental status in social media? How would you feel if it was about you or family member? Unless you are a psychologist and treat Treloar you know nothing about Treloar case. The last thing people with mental issues need is to have their cases judged and discussed in public by people who have no idea what's going on (according to my daughter who is actually a psychologist).

Sorry, I could not help it. I feel strongly about this. Social media can cause a lot of damage to people with mental illness. There is an absolute pandemic of mental issues among young people with sometimes tragic consequences.

So do I.
Do you work in a clinical capacity, looking after patients? I am judging what you've said because I can't imagine anyone who works as a medical professional of any kind would think like this.

The spectrum of mental health conditions spans far greater than those that require hospitalisation.
They should not be dismissed.

Perhaps best targeted at those attacking him directly on his social media rather than on a forum he is unlikely to read, but I understand your point

I am also passionate about this issue but my angle is seeing those that have Taken much needed resources that could of and should of been used for those in genuine need because they are so self obsessed that they are happy to waste this resource for attention.

please don’t assume that my angle is any less genuine or Is “antiquated” as it was put just because it is not the same as yours. I think you would be horrified if you saw what I do each day

No in fact you judged my comments prior to knowing I work in Queensland Health

Thread reminds me of a news article I saw earlier today.

I believe you are genuine. I just don't get why to discuss your opinion on Treloar health in public. You really don't know anything about his diagnosis. I hear stories from my daughter all the time. Quite often people put on brave/happy/smiling face in public why they suffer inside. Nothing good comes out of discussing people's mental health in public. It's basically a rule #1 if you care and want to help.

I said I see your point, so I will drop it

Interstate like to screw each other up , but when it come to Victoria club no such thing as karma eg Carlton , Hawthorn , geelong and Richmond . Jack Martin, scrimshaw all peanut or free .
Surely you cant call Prestia #6 peanuts or the pick you got for Lynch
Izak Rankine in todays value will be more valuable than Tom Lynch

Others i agree with

Another throwing it out there.

If this Treloar thing to the Suns does eventuate.

I’d only be out doing the deal if the Pies throw in there 2021 first even if it costs us more in Treloar salary.

Treloar and 2021 first Rd for
26, 36 and a future 2nd Rd pick

Suns to pay 750k of Treloars salary
Nah his heart is still with Collingwood . He will do a Chris Mayne and stayed with the club. Chris Mayne only signed three years 400-500k deal and Buckley and Eddie name and shame him .

Some people are suggesting this trade.

SUNS give up pick 5 and future first for North pick 2 and draft Logan McDonald provided Crows don't draft him first.
**** me, 2 first rounders for a guy that hasn’t even played a game now, the worlds gone mad. Even Saad is somehow now worth a top 10 pick

Treloar has had depression and anxiety. He isn't entitled. He is probably one of the nicest players you'll find.
He doesn't fake anything.

I dont know if anyone watched the pies doco, from the inside out. Treloar speaks about his anxiety and how he has battled it privately to the point he broke down and had to see the club therapist.

Aiden Fyfe joined Campbell as the only non-Victorians to earn top 10 status, with West Australian Winder also the smallest player among them at 180cm. He is fresh off a season which saw him earn a senior berth at Peel Thunder, proving a classy user through midfield. Keen watchers may remember Okerenyang from the 2018 AFL Grand Final sprint, which he took out, while Fyfe is a wingman out of Gold Coast’s Academy.

Top 10 times:
1. Reef McInnes (Oakleigh/Vic Metro) – 2.78 seconds
2. Max Holmes (Sandringham/Vic Metro) – 2.80
3. Godfrey Okerenyang (GWS Academy/Allies) – 2.86
4. Liam Kolar (Northern/Vic Metro) – 2.87
5. Isiah Winder (Peel Thunder/Western Australia) – 2.873
=6. Zavier Maher (Murray/Vic Country) – 2.89
=6. Seamus Mitchell (Bendigo/Vic Country) – 2.88
8. Joshua Eyre (Calder/Vic Metro) – 2.89
9. Aiden Fyfe (Gold Coast Academy/Allies) – 2.898
=10. Braeden Campbell (Sydney Academy/Allies) – 2.90
=10. Fraser Rosman (Sandringham/Vic Metro) – 2.90
=10. Jamarra Ugle-Hagan (Oakleigh/Vic Country) – 2.90

QLD Health= frontline community heroes.
I’ll go with Iva’s viewpoint.

Iva, I'm a health professional who's worked at QLD Health hospitals for >10 years (and still do). The fact that you work for QLD health in some capacity doesn't change anything I've said.
