It just "happens" to coincidentally look like the Opera House.

So the major logo of Sydney now has to be paid for, silly move by the Opera House Trust, the advertising they get from it alone means they have just ruined that, glad they aren't changing their jumper.

I don't mind the new logo at all. I like that they've reworked the old logo rather than completely redesigning it, more of a face lift. I would be keen to see St. Kilda do something similar and slightly update their logo, keep it pretty much the same just stylise it a little.
