Just had a look at his profile. This is the type of small forward I like.

Appears to have elite athletic traits which is one of the first things I look for in a small forward.

"Winder's performances this season have seen him push into top-30 contention, with the composed midfielder drawing comparisons to hawthorn great Shaun Burgoyne."

If we end up with 19 and 30 at the draft, I hope we bid on Gulden, then take MacRae with 19 then go for Winder with 30.

That would be an amazing result.

We'd be extremely lucky if Macrae lasts to that point. Winder at 30 would be a good chance though.

Keep in mind pick 19 would get pushed back a few spots due to academy prospects. Probably somewhere between 22-24 on draft night.

Doesn't matter if it gets pushed back, same non academy players will be available

I reckon he'll get taken in the top 15 non-academy prospects.

Can't see him available at the 19th selection from the open pool.

Just my opinion though.

Yep, that all reads very well to me. He and Josh Honey could have some good competition at training with those athletic attributes.

There's some quick players in this draft. Holmes recorded approx. 0.07 seconds quicker than Philp in the 20m sprint.

Max Holmes
Sandringham Dragons, NAB League / East Malvern / Melbourne Grammar
Height: 189cm
Weight: 74kg
29/08/02

Wingman with exciting athletic attributes being the son of dual Olympian and Commonwealth Gold Medallist Lee Naylor who initially followed in his mother’s footsteps winning Australian Under-18 400 metres hurdles title. Showed distinct promise at Melbourne Grammar but he suffered a broken arm and was restricted to three games in 2019 playing one with the Sandringham Dragons managing 15 disposals. Impressive in one trial this year with 17 disposals after confirming his athletic profile at Victorian testing day recording 8.43 seconds for AFL Agility run and Yo yo score of 21.2. Finished the year running an elite 2.80 seconds for 20 metres (outdoors) at the NAB AFL Combine in Melbourne.

Small/medium forwards please

I don’t see much point in drafting a young ruck when you see many moving clubs cheaply come trade time, I feel KPD would be easier to get via free agency or trade as well, but I am not against drafting one.
