Cheers, will have a listen when I take the dog for a walk, wish the Cartlon show would come back. Apparently they will do an episode post-trade period
Agree.

Just listened to it. Exciting to hear the endorsement of what we know. But he didn't mention JSOS at all; in front of SOS. That was telling.

If we are going to trade out pick 8 as part of the Saad deal (which I don’t agree with 2 seconds is more than enough collateral to get the deal done) why would we not wait until GWS have traded Cameron, hatley and Caldwell, the picks they get for those three plus the compo they already have for Williams and Corr gives them plenty of options to trade up for our pick 8.

GWS will want to be as high up the order as possible and at the moment it seems we are the only club willing to part with a top 10 pick.

Whilst he is correct there he avoids then the obvious alternative

Where would Saad be taken in the november draft with say $900k x 2 years . Im sure the blues can restructure the contract accordingly to accommodate that and i can assure you the will be there in the 20's

Richmond would jump at giving up 2020 + 2021 1st rounders for this years pick #8

And it might happen, the pick swap that is

Whole new scenario that no one has brought up, would depending on
GWS and Caldwell open to working with us

PLAN A - Screw Essendon
We could really hoodwink Dildoro and do this...

GWS>Pick 8 (Blues) & 15 (Geelong) & Player (Geelong)
Geelong> Cameron & Pick 51 (Blues)
Carlton> Pick 13 & Caldwell

Essendon> Pick 13
Carlton> Saad or we draft him with it Pick 13

PLAN B - Play Nice

GWS>Pick 8 (Blues) & 15 (Geelong) & Player (Geelong)
Geelong> Cameron & Pick 30 (Blues)
Carlton> Pick 13 & Saad
Essendon> Caldwell & Pick 52 (GWS)

Values Saad at Pick 19, if our list managers haven't looked at all different kind of deals we should sack them...

Not sure if it was the game Jed Anderson played on Cripps, but I want him at Carlton.

Would definitely take him with a late 2nd rounder/early 3rd.
Also think we should go hard for Treloar - get him to commit then ream Collingwood by offering unders and on proviso they pay some of his wage).

Saad,Williams, Treloar and Anderson strengthens us significantly..

So do you believe we're genuinely into Treloar Forty3 or is it highly unlikely at this stage?

I have McGovern way behind McKay, Curnow, De Koning & Casboult I wonder if we could try to shop him around and see if anyone is interested.
Even if we got not much back for him but could off load his salary it would be a win for us.
Giving him one more crack at it.

Giving him one more crack at it.

He needs to earn his spot through the VFL.

It's there for him if he wants to take it, but only after he's earnt it.

If there's any equity in team selection, he'll need to show something in match play before he even comes into consideration.

Love your work Forty3 .

Sorry, I would like your post but unfortunately I can't action anything in that thread.

Thanks for sharing.

Not sure if that would automatically be the situation, Sos was talking about Dow/MvGovern & Obrien and went into detail after a carlton supporter rang into say that blues should trade him. Sos was saying teague was a massive massive fan of mcgovern and would give him every opportunity to prove himself also went onto say he has had injuries and bad luck for what ever he means by that.

I hate hearing that as a Carlton supporter. It means there's bias at the selection table.

In saying that, no one on here would be surprised given his continual selection following poor performances.

He's had chances, now he needs to prove his worth. For me, he needs to hold his own in the preseason matches. If he can't do that, he shouldn't be selected round 1.

I think that he needs to first come back to start pre season 10kgs lighter and busts his backside off to get to the best shape he has ever been. Whilst both his and his brothers genetics wont allow them to ever become the elite specimen like some players but Jeromy seems to be able to get himself to a higher level of fitness than mitch ever has done. Had it a bit too easy this boy mainly because of being Jeromy's brother rather than his actual consistency on the field.

Just want to say I love the work your club is doing right now screwing over Essendon.
But the thing is that we aren't screwing over *, just asking for something reasonable. * are screwing themselves... They are a mutual self satisfaction society...

I think initially he gave the forward line experience, but every game as the young forwards grow that becomes less relevant, one more year for mcgovin, then all cheques are off
