WA have taken out any chance of either side winning here. Terrible captaincy
If sides want to win outright, how about they declare after they face 90 overs and then, assuming
the other side will, that makes a game out of it?

Pretty sure Victoria had only lost 1 wicket up until that stage so they could've really put the foot down
around the 70 over mark.

Once a side bats for way over the 90 overs, it makes it hard for the side batting second to win IMO.

Why would you pick 90 overs as the arbitrary number?

Maybe your captain shouldn't have put Victoria into bat lol.

Regardless of the number, make it the number of overs bowled in a day.
Why that though? 100 overs is the cut off for bonus points, why not that? We declared after 119 overs, where there were 265 overs left in the game.

Whatever, start 20 minutes early and you have to bowl 100 over in a day.
If you bowl the opposition out before the 100 overs, you get their overs.

On flat decks, you're not going to get that many outright wins when a side bats for 119 overs.

How can you complain about WA. Complain to the curator, another crap pitch. The pitches are becoming so batter friendly it's almost impossible to get a result with declarations.
If you want results then you need a challenging batting wicket, one where the captains want to bowl on. It's not rocket science.

No surprise the WA v VIC thread contains a heap of whinging.

*Ducks for cover*
Hey! I resemble that remark! Wait, what?
