I assume that North are paying a fair chunk of his pay.

So result is Fogarty and 38 for Higgins and 51.

Cos he is now old and injured. Selwoods has been well past it for two seasons now and its only going to get worse.

Thought he played well in the finals off limited preparation and a smashed up finger.

With the lack of success we have had with first rd picks, maybe we should trade all of our 1st rounders & ask for 2nd & 3rd picks from GWS

So we've traded Cocky and Fogs who have played a combined 6 games in the last 2 years with Smith and Siggens who have played a combined total of 64 games

Well be left with pick ~28 or so and 60ish

After caving for a 33 year old and submitting to outrageous demands from the giants.

I would’ve walked Cameron to the psd of giants didn’t take 13 + 20.

We NEED to hang on to 15 or 13.

How did we cave for a 33 year old?

North were asking for a first round pick for Higgins, at one stage a suggested trade was out with pick 20 & in with Higgins & pick 28

Instead we got some other deals done & traded pick 30 for Higgins. Besides, for all we know North is paying the bulk of his salary for next season, and for pick 30 that's not a bad outcome if we have minimal salary outlay for him

I still can't for the life me understand why they didn't take compo at 10 and we would of given them 13 or 15 in a side deal with one of there kids where they took the full wage to even it out. We never had better than what they would of got. Even if we traded 13 & 20 out for ie: 6 still doesn't make it any better

I would have liked to retain fog but he wasnt worth more in the market its a fair deal.

I think in trade week maybe, but once the Football starts, we will be happy to have Higgins I think.

Assuming we trade pick 30 for Higgins and two first rounds for Cameron. Our picks at the draft are going to be dreadful. One late first round and then probably two picks at the end of the draft.

We might not take more than 2-3 picks and later picks move forward as clubs pass.
