I’m thinking North, Adelaide, bombers (1/3) have multiple picks and will be looking at a talls to kick start their rebuild (ie similar to us Logue/McCarthy ) as they develop later. Thinking a top 10 mid will slide to us and pick up a developing tall with either 31 or rookie. It leaves us thin but surely with multiple chances to pick up mature ruck/fwd options during 2021 surely a top 10 midfield gun is best available before the 5th best tall?
I like Cox more as a wing than a key position.

All because somebody is tall doesn't mean they can put the body weight to play key position.

Cox is extremely skinny to me and I doubt he will ever have the weight to play as tall.

His skills and running could be used a tall winger and maybe sometimes pinch hit in the ruck.

If we pick Cox as a tall it's a mistake.

Better go with a midfielder.

Are there any free agents we should target?

Left field here are a few suggestions. Cripps is the obvious target.

TOM LYNCH - handy 3rd tall, would be good for 2 years.

Restricted free agent, 146 games

The veteran forward, 30, will have given the Crows 10 years of service at the end of next season. Has played 146 games for Adelaide since making his debut with the club in 2012. Kicked six goals from his 13 matches in 2020.

BRODIE SMITH - provides great run and carry. Maybe could be a winger for us .

Unrestricted free agent, 183 games

The 28-year-old is entering his 11th season with the Crows in 2021. The defender and 2014 All-Australian has played 183 games since making his debut in 2011. Had an elite ranking for metres gained in the league this year.

Out of contract players worth a look.

Zac Fisher (2016 Pick #27) 175cm/68kg - MID

Sam Petrevski-Seton
(2016 Pick #6) 180cm/74kg - MID

Wil Powell
(2017 Pick #19) 185cm/70kg - FWD/MID
GOLD COAST - Until 2021

Brandon Starevich

When was the last time you saw him?

I believe that he weighed in at the combine much heavier than he was previously listed.

What's with these kids aspiring to be key defenders? Key defenders were players who couldn't crack the KPF position back in the day and yes, get off my lawn.
that's modern footy for you, why get double teamed as a key forward when you can chill in the backline taking intercept marks and running off all day

Ed Phillips delisted by the Saints. Always liked his game when he played, endurance winger and seemed to be caught down the pecking order.

Oscar McDonald was delisted. I can admit I have never seen him play ever.

I forgot the point of this post
