We did one of these a few years back. Basically a complete redraft of the Shield. Given there are 6 teams I suppose 6 entries would be the best number of entrants. There'll be a 6 hour time limit between 8 am and 10 pm every day (so if someone picks at 9:30 pm the next guy has until 1:30 the next day).

Sorry was playing some Friday Night T20 cricket (don't ask).

Pick 42: Peter Handscomb - Test Centurion, average of 38 at Shield level. Captain of Victoria. Will be forced to get on the front dog under my leadership.

Pick 43: Scott Boland - Leader of the Victorian attack. Nearly 250 wickets @ 26 in the Shield and in eth-dog current Shield team of the season (I think).

2 Victorians also means I can claim anti-Vic bias if I'm not declared the winner.

Also tossing up whether to open with Wade instead and drop JP down to keep. Will mull it over as the draft continues.

McDermott seems to batting better this and does somehow average over 40 this year. Plus he has to play on the bowling friendly track of Tasmania

I really want a left-armer to round out my attack, and seeing as how he's expressed a desire to return to the whites/isn't retired and is therefore eligible for the draft (happy for eth-dog to confirm this), I'll take one of the best fast bowlers in the country - Jason Behrendorff.
