be interesting to see how many more young players end up in the SFL getting away from state league.
Heard a rumour a few days ago that Russell Young might be chucking in the league president's job.
Manshandan to take over. Pity if true as he's done a lot to revitalise the lrague since taking over.

I'm not 100% sure whether he is going to stand down or not but I do know that he is considering it.
I spoke to him at the B&F the other night and he seemed very tired, he did a terrific job in his short time in charge in what has been very difficult times.
Did more in two years than the previous lazy miscreants (Ogilvie and Johnson) did in a decade.
For a 74 year old, the demands are getting too much, not to mention the unintelligent, self-indulgent whinging and pathetic behaviour from some of the Huon people in regards to the finals and the unfortunate situation of State Government Covid 19 restrictions still in place.
Sometimes I think the clubs and their supporters are their own worst enemy in that league.

James Bourke has gone from North Hobart U/18s to Hobart.
Jacob Quinn, captain of North Hobart's U/18 team this year has also gone to Hobart.

His uncle Brent played with Hobart in the TFL from around 1996 until the early 2000s, played in our very last TFL match against the Demons in 1997 and I believe kicked the clubs last ever TFL goal.
Is a 1999 premiership player with Hobart.

Christensen is a good get for Lauderdale and football in the state.
Not sure the four to five quality players would have been on much more than base rate considering that most were in and out of the seniors? they’ve either returned to Sorell or have been poached by them on big money so who can blame them for leaving with less commitment and more money.
