Yep, but with EVW gone we have only 3 players left in total from ‘14, ‘15 and ‘16. That’s a huge hole in the middle of the list

Yes - I still recall those drafts and Bard/Joyce saying...we have taken our 3 picks...we are committed to short, medium and long term success...

5 years on and he we are needing to rebuild in earnest and the hole you point to is getting bigger by the week.

It's only in hindsight and with the introduction of new coaches/list managers can we see just how much damage the Bard/Joyce combination did to our list.

Barring injury, I'm pretty confident he'll be on our list in 2022 and beyond.
Showed quite a bit in his limited game time.Like to see young Will or Stephenson push up on to the wings to partner young Bailey Scott. Exciting times.

Great news. I hope he gets a good run at it and takes every opportunity.

How many kids from 2017 do we have now? Six. Just checked. Three in the top 11 then WW, Hayden and Xerri.

It's almost time travelling our rebuild back a few seasons.

Don't tell Kayno or Dwaynepipe. They think we have no one and this is the first draft we will have taken anyone in.

But we have four left. Three from 2016. Simpkin, Zurhaar and Larkey.

It's really only 2014 and 15 of those years that were bad. Ben Mackay and although he is looking good now some might say that was only just...

But they look worse because of poor and compromised drafting over the years earlier. 2013 was good but 2012 was Garner, then Jacobs and Wood. Did 2011 even happen? So effectively next year we may have one or two players available from the 2011, 12, 14 and 15 drafts. And LMac, Frog and Turner from 2013.

5 players from 5 drafts in our most important age group right now.

Lol.

Not just poor recruiting, we were screwed by compromised drafts and injury.

On the plus side we have eight players from '16 - '18 drafts who look like keepers and potentially Bonar, WW, Stephenson, Xerri, Mahoney and Perez (both from '19) who have all shown something at AFL level as well.

Missed Zurhaar in the rookie draft.
But yep, it’s a lot worse if you take in ‘11 and ‘12 as well.
That’s a lot of high hopes that amounted to zero return.

it's interesting how brad ended up creating the exact same list dynamic he inherited from laidley where there was a group of aging senior players, some promising young talent and absolutely nothing in between. he's lucky some of those guys like boomer, spud, drew etc held on for as long as they did or he would've been gone about 5 years earlier

Cialis.

I'm open on that. It works extremely well.

Fantastic, and way better than Viagra.

(I know wrong thread but I use it and amazing results. Any guy struggling here in "that" way give it a go)

Sorry. Carry on.

Good.

Deserved another crack at it. Hope he is busting his arse in the gym. For him to take his game to another level I really think he has to build some mass so he can compete at ground level a bit better with the big boys. His running capacity is already elite, just needs to add 2-3kg to his frame imo.

Hope he gets an extended crack at it.

Under the new rules we can move Walker to the rookie list, without having to draft him in the rookie draft...
Have we done this, does anybody know?
If not, why not? Maybe we are waiting to see if there are more appealing options...
Hoped he doesn’t get pinched by another club.
