They didn’t specify any format so it’s a joke of a list.
If you haven’t had serious success at test level you are simply a second rate cricketer.
That’s just silly. Would you describe Hogg or Bracken as second rate cricketers?

Lol, in the modern game there is far more incentive to be a good white ball cricketer than a test cricketer.

Yep some average players making a living playing hit and giggle cricket, but bottom line is they turn there because they are not good enough to play test cricket. All young players still come through the system wanting to play test cricket, that is where you get your respect.
Maxwell is a classic example, making big money I am sure but won’t put in the work required to be the player he could of been. Good luck to him but at the end of the day he is just another bloke not good enough to play the ultimate form of the game.
If you believe white ball cricket is a higher level than test cricket that’s your opinion.

Bit Harsh on Maxy. He should never have been dropped for the 17/18 Ashes after the hundred he made in India. He deserved a chance at home to see if he could make it. Even though Shaun Marsh ended up making a couple of hundreds that series giving Maxwell an extended run in the Australian side could have been the making of him

He has had ample time to be a test cricketer. He simply can’t get behind the concept of protect his wicket.Real shame as he could of been the next Gilchrist.

he has put in the work, proved he could do it with big first class knocks, bumping his Fc average into the 40s, hitting a test century in Asia and still being completely ignored at a time when Australia has tried countless players with modest domestic records

He's had 7 test matches. All of which were in Asia. Barely gets to play Shield but when he does he averages above 40 with the bat.

He never got a chance at home where he could have settle himself as a test player
