No, that's Noah Gribble in the 23, the brother of Werribee's Tom Gribble.Hey GR, at 2.10, is that Perkins (23) and Hollands (78) standing next to each other?
Some of the 14 outgoing players were from the rookie list, we got 4 in via trade/FA, and there’s list size reductions. We don’t need to take more than about 5.that‘s a bold strategy
maybe revisit the question, I.e., you seemed to cut a lot more players than you have good draft picks. What’s your list strategy here?
Makes sense given that Hollands towers over him.No, that's Noah Gribble in the 23, the brother of Werribee's Tom Gribble.

Tick for me.
West Adelaide’s Wayne Siekman said Thilthorpe’s numbers had to be taken into context.
“We were the bottom side and he was getting the best defender every week, as an 18-year-old kid, but it was the best preparation for him,” Siekman said.
“The ball service from us wasn’t good enough but he very rarely got outmarked and when the ball hits the ground he’s ferocious.
“He’s got commitment, determination and character.”
Siekman said Thilthorpe’s kicking and running were strengths.
“He’s one of the best runners in our club and in the SA hub this year,” he said.
“He wants to be another Brodie Grundy, but he also wants to be a Max or Ben KingPLAYERCARDSTART4Brodie Grundy

“I don’t know how many 200cm blokes can kick with left or right comfortably, not just use his left when he’s in trouble.
“He’s always at training early and always practising his kicking.”
Siekman said Thilthorpe took feedback well and it was due to working too hard and overloading that his injuries had to be managed late in the season.
“He’s all fine now and he’s ready to go,” he said.

I wonder if a split with * on the night is still a possibility. We could potentially take Perkins and Cox/Reid with 6&7 and still have 11 on the board?
I’m not advocating we do this, but with the talk we’re heavily into Perkins, it leads me to believe it’s a possibility. I think if McDonald is still there at 2, * will come knocking.

Very likely * will come knocking hoping that we rush into a decision. I think we should push for all 3 first rounders or at least 6,7 and a third. If they wanted to deal in good faith, should’ve come to us while picks swaps could be considered. They’re unbearable to deal with during the trade period, see no reason we’d want to make things easy for them.
GR reckons he's actually a key forward that got pushed into ruck because of his height and injuries in the team.[
No to rucks that early in the draft.
Out of the top 20 players in the Comp - how many are rucks or even KPPs.
We’ve been burnt to many times.

Thilthorpe is a key forwardLet’s hope we don’t squander pick 2 on a ruck which is the least important position on the ground.

Yep, no disagreement from me in regards to this. But we need to urgenetly find ways to replace dumont and cunnington. Anderson got lots of aggression and ziebell can be a permanent medium forward who can also be a battering ram to hurt defenders. Ziebell could play out his career as a undersized chf. IF we are lucky, Garner might become injury free for a few seasons and become career best. This frees up thomas into the midfield and we also train stephenson to become an onballer, our midfield will suddenly become much more dynamic.

If we trade 2 to * i want 6,7,8 and next years 1st. ****'em

cant do it, essendon need 2 firsts over the next 2 yearsIf we trade 2 to * i want 6,7,8 and next years 1st. ****'em
They didn't sell any farm. They were gifted one for a bloke who hasn't broken into a sweat for 3 years.I reckon this is pretty close to the actual result. Not happy that * get Cox or Perkins but that's what happens when you sell the farm to get picks.
Live trading tho. They gave up a 2nd round pick to move up 5 spots to take Harrison Jones instead of Charlie Comben.Rightly or wrongly, Essendon wouldn't give up two firsts for Dunkley, they're not giving them up for pick 2.

I’m happy to be proven wrong on this one, just my opinion - but I personally see him becoming a R/F at AFL level, rather then F/R (Comben).
Understand it’s only one game, but he played Ruck in the All Stars game, didn’t he?
Thilthorpe is a key forward
He runs pretty hard tooFar out watching these again crikey he looks good.
I queried Logan's ability to find the goals from multiple means.
Riley is marking em, crumbling em, snapping, running them home.
Didn't see a huge sample of his kicking depth though?
