Bit of a silly comment as Dusty is still playing and Ablett Jr is retired.

Now whilst I can’t be bothered starting an argument you have said in the past that your not actually involved at EK yet you say Ablett has not agreed to play at EK.We know who you are even though you dispute this on here and elsewhere but hey who cares.
In response some of the rumours have started from within EK and outside of EK. Ablett Jr is retired so you would expect him to be getting calls. Bit to this rumour. Even EDFL headquarters are aware of the rumour so it’s out there. The league would be wrapped if Ablett Jr plays in this comp as will EK people and others. It’s huge news!! I knew after Tulla grabbed some headlines that there would be another twist!!

Anyway my account will stay open until the end of clearances or Ablett Jr signs at another club.

Remember who would have thought Wayne Carey would strut his stuff playing EDFL. That was huge!! Well for about 10mins till he got injured 🤣

Another subject:
Airport West now advertising for a coach so a few candidates must have slipped through the nest out there. Interesting!!

Enjoy the weekend .

Turbo I honestly don’t care what you think regarding who I am.

All I know is Pat and EK live in your head 24/7 rent free, it’s sad.

Hey Bash, not sure I actually criticised EK in any recent post regarding the great man Ablett Jr and I’m sure EK like the publicity generated by this topic. Oh well let’s see who ends up being right shall we.

I heard Hillside isn’t all as great as it seems..
Doesn’t bother me mate. No idea what’s going on up there. Maybe laying low in season 2021 as in all seriousness who can beat EK other than themselves.
“Win the centre clearance and kick it down to Bellchambers and Stewart. Who will out Mark those 2. Just to talk.

Go harder Turbs... EDFL won't do anything about EK doing a Deer Park and making a mockery of Local Footy(B Grade FFS!!!) but nothing stopping you or anyone else calling them out on BF...
Makes me sick what EK are doing, and what makes it worse is 3 or 4 other coaches in the comp are being all matey with the EK coach to his face and on Facebook, but talk to them one on one and they despise what he and the club are doing. These coaches are as spineless as the EDFL

Oh we can’t beat them so we will be just give up on the whole season and get ready for 2022.
Great culture to build a footy club 👍🏻

Hey Bashen true or not, it would be a great get for EK 6 games this would bring in huge bucks for the club not too mention media exposure, Are you sure pat can't wrangle this some how cause I would even pay a gate fee to get to watch gazza go around he would kick 20 goals on his own

If there is a man in local footy to get him down, probably would be him. But sadly no. We’re going after Chris Judd, Dane swan and tony Lockett according to turbo next week.
All 1 pointers too

From what im hearing Tullamarine, West Coburg and to a lesser extent Westmeadows are keen on pushing East Keilor. That probably rounds out the top 4, Airport West and Rupertswood have slipped over the off season.

Patane also to Roxy

Donald D
Unfortunately Donald all clubs will lose a few purely due to the reduced salary cap. Only a few clubs recruiting heavily in this division but not sure how with a 50% drop in match payments. Good luck to Patane as he gives everything he has on the field.

I agree and good on Tulla. Looks like they could seriously challenge EK and that will make some people at EK very nervous I reckon..
I’m not involved with either club but I think ek are still looking fantastic there won’t be a ruckman or defender who’s able to stop Chris Stewart

Rupo have resorted to wringing there u16 premiership players from years ago to come "home".
Unsolicited calls from spud, sorry skip the coach are the laughin point in the postcode
Rupo defnatly of the boil

Just going to try and change topic from EK for hopefully longer than 8 hours lol.

How do we all rate every clubs off season activity?

Tullamarine - have put together a solid list of players and for the first time in a long time may have enough depth to go one better than runner up, could be risky business with Limbach if he can't get back to the form we all know he is capable of, between Cronin, Allen and Pretty there were around 100 goals in 2019, does Allen move into a CHF / Ruck role now? Most impressive player for Tulla last year was young Matson, i think the departure of Mulvaney gives him an opportunity to play up on a wing and has the potential to dominate, the inclusion of Micallef gives them a good edge, the guy can play big and small, will never be the best player in a team but certainly very important, Laffan adds more pace across HF and wing. Where will Dalrymple play in this solid team? Oak Park played him on a wing when i watched them a few times. They lost Richard Findlay but he only played a handful of games, their issues over the last few years have clearly been depth, senior team always 2nd or 3rd but ressies struggle to win a game, i think that changes in 2021, 19s team made a prelim so some good youngsters coming up and not much movement out of the club so player retention seems good.

Tulla and Roxy have been the big movers, difference being Tulla filling holes for what they see as a premiership window and Roxy getting a very solid young list together, i will call it early but i expect Roxy to be playing finals in the next couple of years, they wont set the world on fire but they wont play c grade whilst Farelly is there. 10/10 for both clubs off field so far.

Westmeadows - are rounding off their coaching team getting some good experience around an already good leadership group, they have had some issues off field and their handling of the situation may not have been the best but speaking strictly footy i beleive they are the real deal and can definitley challenge.

Rupo - hard to gauge where they are at, won the flag from 4th with a lot of outgoing players, what is a pass mark for the newcomers?

According to clearances alot of movement to and from Sunbury Kangaroos, unsure if senior or juniors though, does anyone expect them to be a top 4 contender after a very dominant season in C grade?

Taylors Lakes have made a statement with an influx of young players (mostly under 18s) hearing alot of positives coming out of there, don't think they have a good enough list to play finals but definitley a better list than last year although Rhys Deacon is on the move, he has been a solid goal kicker over the past couple of seasons.

Hillside has alot of outgoing players but they also have one of the best junior programs in the league, they wont be as bad as prople think, they have recruited well and have an abundance of gun 18-20 year olds to pick from.

EK - a few new faces to the cougars but also a few gone : Barrett, Langwell, Kennedy, Lyons, Carey off the top of my head that played in the GF but are gone.

West Coburg - Lynden Dunn.... is he enough to get them to finals? Baravi gone, saw them twice last year and Baravi was definitely their best, not much happening on the transfer front and absolutley no word about what is going on down there, i don't know what to expect but you would think a pass would be a top 4 finish.

Ha
It means all the potential recruits were promised a ex afl player to coach and they got a bloke who inhereted helmers team an turned broadford into a basketcase winnin about 3 games
Long year ahead for Rupo

You would think that if Ablett actually played football again, he'd play at Modewarre with his brother. And there's family commitments and a bung shoulder.

Yeah I get it, you don’t like Rupo. Plenty more muppets where you came from. What’s your club?

baravi was going to northcote park last year but will be at Marby in 2021. west coburg transfers were done last time with 4 guys from premier . lynden dunne will be great with Lucas 'Bowkett 'Johncock 'Drake and Archer to name a few and some very talented juniors in the system. Watch Taylors Lakes as well as they having young talent oozing at the place .

Archer will be dominate in div1. Great get for West Coburg. If Dunn can play back and him forward it’s a great mix. But think Dunn will play midfield. Gee he will be difficult to contain and with his leg could kick 40 plus playing as a mid.

Most of the players coming in are 18s as the juniors in RDFL is odd ages

You know more than me about Rupo but I like the idea of calling your homegrowns that might have played at the club. It’s the way to go with the points system.
