hawkins is probobly the best afl junior player ever
look at how much older your forward line is then ours, the premiership clock is really ticking for the dogs

Oh yeah, Matty Robbins, the reject small forward who kicked more goals than any player on Geelongs list last year with Darcy, Murphy & Hahn out for over half of the year.

hawkins has been compared to the likes of locket and carey.
ottens just look at his 2001 season.This is the first time for a while that he has had a full pre season.Also with king being fit he can spend more time up forward.
Ablett and chapman would both be one of the top 5 small forwards in the comp
johnson has been declared by many experts as a extremley classy player who is capable of being a superstar. Has kicked many bags of 4-6 goals.
nathan has done well just to get were he is.Remember he did not have a proper preperation so the fact that he has dominated in the vfl and shown some signs in the afl means that he has inherrited alot ot talent.
Mooney is also a very capable forward who can also play in just about any position all over the ground.He is capable of kicking goals and he adds alot of aggresion to the side which is something the dogs dont have is a big stron tough man.

Tom Hawkins will never be as good as Tony Lockett. And I doubt they have compared him to the great man Lockett. Lockett was a champion. Hawkins is yet to prove himself. Nathan Ablett hasn't proven himself yet either. And Mooney well he needs to control his temper.
Geez. Geelong went in pretty hard for Aker once it was pretty apparent he was leaving the Lions....... would definitely take the place of Johnson, Chapman or N.Ablett in your forward line.

he also broke the all time contested mark record in not just any draft but a super draft
the vic metro coach said he is the best player he has ever seen and he has coached players such as judd and murphy
even dermet said in that article were he baged hawkins that he is the most hyped up junior player ever
hawkins was a absolute stand out in a superdraft. I cant remember there being a stand out in the 02 draft or the 97 draft

Look out for the Pies this year, they made the GF in 2002 & 2003 with Rocca & Buckley relatively injury free

Dominating VFL means you will make a forward line the BEST in the AFL.
Mitch Hahn is also a very capable forward who can also play in just about any position all over the ground.He is capable of kicking goals and he adds a lot of aggression to the side.
Also, would you not call a player like Will Minson a big strong tough aggressive young man.
And are you claiming that Geelong is a tough team? With Josh "Hey look I can make my white pants the colours of Hawthorns jumper, yellow in the front, brown at the back, when a St. Kilda player approaches" Hunt still in it.

on 3aw when they were talking about the coaching job at geelong someone asked gerald healey would he like to coach geelong?
he said no but thats because i dont want to coach, but as for a prespective coach they would love to coach geelong.I dont watch much junior footy but i have been told by people who know what they are talking about that hawkins will be the next wayne carey

Ablett and Chapman are both class players as I said. Better than (in no particular order) Matty Robbins, Aaron Davey, Nathan Brown, Brad Johnson, Jason Akermanis, I don't think so...... (feel free to add to this list)
Are we talking about Steven Johnson??? Or David Johnson??? Has to be Steven since David is more of a defender. So when is Steven going to put the bottle down and concentrate on his footy??
Nathan Ablett has done ******** all since arriving on your list. With his Dad and Brother you would hope he has some talent, question is, when will he show it??
Mooney cant keep his fists and elbows down long enough to string a few games together. Hardly reliable and hardly a matchwinner.
