Double up opponents very good.

Would have been nice to get one of Tigers or Cats at Marvel as opposed to their grounds.

only 10 games at Marvel a bit annoying.

but overall pretty positive
Don’t mind playing Tigers @ G.
True test and a chance to play in front of a massive crowd if we get away to a good start.

Double Ups:
  • North Melbourne
  • West Coast Eagles
  • Gold Coast Suns
  • Port Adelaide
  • Melbourne

Highlights would be the double up on North (should win both), getting Brisbane at Mars, Carlton at home, and in the final stretch of the season we get to have our annual Essendon slaughter and a good test against Port in the final round.

Lowlights are Geelong at GMHBA (auto loss), Tigers at MCG and starting the season against the Pies at the MCG. Can't see us winning any of those.

Are we EVER going to get to play GWS in MELBOURNE????? :rage: We only play them once in Canberra AGAIN.

They must be scared little poo poos!

I've got something else on that night so I can't go, but if it was in Melbourne I might have managed it.
We actually have a reasonable Home/Away split against GWS. It's just the away finals that probably make it seem skewed. Also played them at Etihad this year

Seems like a great fixture on field and a s**t one off field.

We'll just have to capitalise commercially by winning the flag.

wow we actually play west coast in melbourne? feels like our last 5 have been at that hell optus
If they are allowed out. It's probably a canny move by the AFL to make sure they turn up and I'll bet plenty of coaches have mentioned not wanting to go to WA for exactly the reason they didn't this year. Does everyone think 2021 will be better than this year? I admire your optimism. It'll be winter, and we all know what happens in winter. The Wozzies will have to fly east and stay as no other teams will want to risk having to quarantine for 2 weeks if McClown locks the borders repeatedly.

Sorry to be Debby Downer, or even Derek Downer. ;)

We can win all of those, particularly against the cats who we play after a Bye, which is their Achilles heel.
