Ivanka. She's a far better looking and slightly less obnoxious version of her dad, and that should be enough.

She's toast

They reckon she plans to run for governor or senate in Florida. The Trump's have no idea how running a state campaign is different to a national one.

The fact she has no idea of life in the state outside her billionaire island will kill her.

Dude you’re completely unhinged. Take a break.

Mitt Romney is positioning himself as the 'modern centrist' candidate that would win votes back from democrat voters.

After the post-Trump bloodletting the GOP may choose to avoid lurching further towards the conspiratorial right so they can start appealing to minorities and urban voters again.

Good luck. There's a vast swathe of GOP voters who despise him.

He's got more chance of declaring himself an independent and getting a token position in a Democratic cabinet as a gesture of compromise and bipartisanship. The populist wing of the GOP won't want anything to do with him. They didn't even like him in 2012.

I doubt romney has any plans to run again. He has zip chance with the base.

What a shitty list of contenders to choose from. There is no way Donald will run again in 4 years as he will be the same age Biden is now. All the crao he threw about Biden's age will come back to haunt him in four years if he nominates.
None of the others have a chance. They are either Trump syncophants who will have to say in four years they were wrong and denounce him and his policies, or stick with him in the hope if picking up some of his base. The problem with that will be they will have to out Trump the man himself and be more out of control with their policies.
The GOP needs to reinvent itself or it will be curtains. If they get wiped out in the mid terms next year they will get slaughtered in 2024. They deserve it after their disgraceful behaviour. If they are not careful they will become the party of QAnon whackjobs.

Or they'll just lie and deflect and hope no one holds them accountable. That would never happen, though, would it?

Watch the tap dance from someone like Nikki Haley. She's been part of Trump's inner circle but has now done some token distancing.

This will be the line...

"The successes of the Trump presidency should be preserved and we shouldn't back away from them. I think Trump made an error of judgement in the final days of his presidency but we must now focus on the dangers of four more years of the Democrats and their radical agenda."

Job done.
