Hmm something just doesn’t look right from that footage. Looks like a left handed batsman at the crease, perhaps Warner or Wade? That seems to be front the first innings, and Siraj is likely in a different part of the ground at fine leg.

Yesterday the batsmen were Paine and Green at the time. So I think some wires are getting crossed.

No issue with the “Darryylllll” style teasing from the crowd, however the racial abuse from tiny sections here and there have been a long term problem. Whether the right person/people were identified, or the correct evidence/footage found, is a whole different story unfortunately.

I do feel for the blokes evicted, if it was just one of their idiot mates doing it and then as a result all of them have been evicted and footage of them all broadcast across the TV and newspapers.

Same standards of law should apply here, members of the team have made allegations and indicated individuals believed to be responsible. The governing body and police have exonerated those men. So either point out other individuals it could be or make a statement stating you were racially vilified but unable to identify by whom (which people would understand I feel).

But if found to be corroborated then banned from all sporting stadiums in Aus for life.

That’s the key thing here, even with “only” 5 down now at tea. Those last 3-4 wickets for India really can tumble very quickly, so often is the case in this series as well.

The wicket of Pujara is enormous, that could be the game.

Great effort by India, but must be said, our bowling has been pretty average and easy to defend against.
