They will play wherever the AFL fixture say it will be played ala Cairns, Darwin, Alice Springs, Ballarat and Wellington.
Problem is the tens of millions of dollars that would be needed to bring Moorabbin up to the standard of Ballarat or Wellington.

In Melbourne, the AFL would expect that. They wouldn't allow it at an Alice Springs like standard. And even that might require a few mil.

The way it is going with COVID an all Vic season isn't out of the question.

Don't know if Moorabin has the broadcast facilities for senior AFL games though.

The biggest issue would be parking and transport. There is very limited parking at the oval and the train is a bit of a hike from the oval itself.

Increase revenue? Cut spending?

What are you suggesting? Double their ticket prices and make sponsors pay three times as much? Or should they pay a salary cap with less than minimum spend? Cut their coaching support staff to an inferior level compared with their competitors? Sell some treadmills or some footballs?

The Saints will be fine. Plenty of industries and organisations have struggled this year. Stop trolling.

What is 5% of the salary cap.

There is your first answer.

Saints finances took a huge hit after they left Moorabbin & their biggest coterie group, The Cage, pulled all funding & have never returned.

How much has Tassie contributed to North’s paper thin profits over the years?

Not as much as I contributed when you TIN RATTLERS were out RATTLING TINS to survive.

Wouldnt be surprised if the AFL are working together with the Tassie government to force North to move permanently

Pulling funds will only exacerbate North's problem and they will not have another choice but to relocate

Saints with the brand new state of the art RSEA park and the Danny Frawley centre have secured their future in Melbourne

Its a shame but one less inner city Melbourne wont matter down the track

Saints finishing top 4 this year and North finishing near last will also be one more nail in the coffin

Yeah because North will be debt free by the end of the year and you guys are down a cool 13 million! I am terrified!

Ahahahahahahahhahaha.

You posted this on the main board and got rinsed by neutrals.

$20m they say the Saints debt will be this time in 2022.

$20m dollarydooos

Word also is that the Saints are desperately trying to renegotiate contracts with types they've signed recently, big salary cap squeeze coming.

Likely to lose big name youngsters if they can't.

Oh more than. They are in the hole big time.

Another COVID year and it is $20m.

When are the clubs voting on a recall of St Kilda's AFL loans? Any updates on that?

It must be reassuring to know that North's big name signings of recent seasons won't be squeezing out the kids.

Yes it will be tough to lose the likes of Dunstan, Roberton, Kent, Carlisle, Geary and Ross at the end of this year to fit in the youngsters/new recruits but so be it.

Unbelievably ignorant of the situation. Hilarious a supporter from such a non entity of a club is spreading the stupidest of fake news.

So dumb, so North :D :D :D

I hope St Kilda can manage it.

With the debt squeeze off field it will be hard to keep so many balls in the air.
