Rumour Pies want Petracca

Would be a great replacement for Pendles.

don't think they are the same type of player. One is a midfield mainstay even at 33, the other play in burst. Pies already got de goey, petrraca is the excact same. Having 2 on the list will mean pies are going to be down by 2 players 15 out 23 matches in a year...

Can't see any big name $ players telling their managers they're keen to go to Collingwood anytime soon after that trade week shemozzle. Pies speak with forked tongue.

I haven't seen Bulldog supporters post with their chests out so far since they won that grand final (their second one). Funnily enough, the following season that kind of turned to s**t for them, I wonder if the Treloar thing will turn out similar.

Fatracca is sooo good he lead the Dees to a respectable 9th
lol You guys would almost be premiership favourites if you had of taken him at number 1 over that Bumbling Spud

Not similar in playing style, but if Petracca can continue his form from last year he'll lead the Dees midfield for the next 7-8 years and is in the process of having his own Dustin Martin-style jump from gun mid-sized forward to elite onballer.

JDG still has a hell of a lot of growing up to do, and hasn't proven his capacity to play on ball full time.

The if here is capital bold. There isn't another Martin player anytime soon. Martin is what he is today not just because if him but the people around him. Culture is battered around a lot these days. If u want to com plate the culture if the two club, simply go to the tiger and demon shop at their respective home ground us ample enough evidence. If you can find the demon shop that is. Petracca at best, would be a decent midfielder unless there can be some life altering experience.

Petracca came 3rd in the Brownlow last year - he is more than a 'decent midfielder'.

Culture is one thing, but being a self-starter is as important, and Petracca looks to have finally grown up and going through his own set of aspirational experiences, getting into meditation (like Martin) and travelling to the US the previous pre-season to undertake some additional high performance training.

ig words from you, usually ppl who says have no idea themselves but can't handle ideas from others. So Nicholas, paaaasuade me.

Doubt many players give a sh*t tbh. If Collingwood are offering a FA big coin they'll be super appealing.

Well here's the thing, they are not, all the big coins are going to Grundy de goey and Moore. Grundy is understandable, Dr goey and Moore are way over because the latter 2 are not exactly top of the pile of their respective position. The money for the 3 could field you a whole midfield. Nevermind the cultural issue and the racism issue. It's tainted, Eddie couldn't have gotten out quickly enough.

The bulldogs already had a strong midfield, adding another midfielder won't make them significantly better. Their forward line is the key, make that work and they could be onto something.
