We said both Juric & Lopez would have played if a final but didn't want to risk them with travel... so why would we then make Mauk travel if he wasn't fit?

Always going to happen with such a young team.

What's disappointing is the experienced players, particularly Elsey and Jakobsen, not stepping up and leading the youngsters.

In the first half, Smith kept getting dragged inside to cover these two who were always out of position. Elsey is forever being caught ball watching.
