On the porch
Yes I am actually, and I'm disgusted by the ineptitude of Eddie McGuire. He has transformed us into a laughing stock. Not as original as your whinging and moaning.
Are you even a CFC member?

They put individuals above Club, and have the audacity to ask those who want change if they are members!!!!It’s not enough to have had the salary cap managed to the point of obliteration last year, but we start this year with this.
The pro-Ed bunch still haven’t made a link between the shock resignation announcement and current events, and therefore think it’s pretty normal he continues.
Question for one of the board members on the integrity committee (Sizer / Murphy) ... “It was revealed at yesterday’s presser that the board did not intend releasing the “CFC Do better” report until well after this AGM. Can you explain how that behaviour would have been consistent with ‘integrity’ ?”

I wonder if they were planning on releasing it as a proud day for the club. Perhaps they could have done it at the family day. This question did get answered by Peter Murphy. There was no consideration of the timing of the AGM, they wanted to do full diligence on the report before they released it, which included meeting face-to-face with the report’s authors. It was always their intention to make it public at some stage.

Here's is Beams' "thank you" video on receiving life membership.
I think it's fascinating that the only two individuals from the club he specifically names are Derek Hine for recruiting him and Eddie McGuire for his "loyalty."
I also think it's fascinating how often he mentions the pain he has caused in the past couple of years but that "it takes two to tango."
Well done to the 18 folks who voted that this AGM would be not much of note... you called it!
Beams put the life membership on eBay to sell yet?

fu** this arseh*le who blatantly bent over our football club.
No surprise here mentioned McGuire - who was a catalyst in his disastrous return.
Indeed they are out and prowling. Go Eddie ... President for life, to hell with the club, let Kind Ed rule forever. Yes yes we are the best club in the world. The Eddieology Cult members are up and about tonight!!
At least Heath had the balls to show up.
Every time I see Daynes face it makes me more angry.
Nothing could make me watch that.
It’s clear that he has attempted to take advantage of the club. Plus I just want to forget we ever took him back. Not being smart here what made you change your opinion on him? One stage you were a big defender of him.
Heater might have left on bad terms at the time, but it had got to the point where it was best for all parties that he leave. I think it ended up being a win for all parties, and now he's welcome back as the great Collingwood man he is.At least Heath had the balls to show up.

I just want to clarify this post. “Laughing stock” is nowhere near strong enough. We are perceived by the general public as a racist club. Something we all love so dearly has been transformed into an ugly mess of excuses. We cannot recover from this until Ed is gone. The fact that he refuses to go shows just how out of touch he is with modern society.Yes I am actually, and I'm disgusted by the ineptitude of Eddie McGuire. He has transformed us into a laughing stock.
The whole point is that we’ve done nothing to address this history! Ed couldn’t even offer a simple apology at the press conference. Instead, declaring it a proud day.Has anyone actually read the 35 page report that was submitted?
There is absolutely nothing new in there that wasn't public knowledge. They've even gone back to the '70 GF and thrown in something about fans booing when Syd Jackson got a free kick. They've neglected to mention it may be because he was reported for striking Lee Adamson in the Semi and was let off by the tribunal because he claimed Adamson racially vilified him. Of course, 25 years later, Jackson admitted he lied about the incident and the racist remarks.
Did these idiots research the fact that maybe that was the reason for the booing?
Yes, the press conference wasn't one of his finest moments. The whole point is that we’ve done nothing to address this history! Ed couldn’t even offer a simple apology at the press conference. Instead, declaring it a proud day.
Can you name any fine moments of him for the last 10 years?Yes, the press conference wasn't one of his finest moments.
A simple and sincere apology and acceptance of fault would have deflated a lot of the subsequent uproar.
