Mourinho is probably the 2nd best manager of my time watching football behind Ferguson, but it's near on impossible to stay at the top for so long. Just look at his contemporaries from that mid-late 00's era, they're either retired or, like him, no longer at the elite level (Ancelotti, Benitez).

He's still a good, capable manager but football moves on and he has not been elite for some time now. It doesn't tarnish his legacy or past achievements, but the whole "he's a serial winner" nonsense is so reductive and ignorant of reality.

We were his last roll of the dice. Hasn't worked out. Time to move on before it gets even more toxic and turgid

Having not really seen Spurs play, any reason Bale not playing? Injured, or just no good when he plays?
Bit of both. Few injuries so hasn't been in regularly and when he returns he looks short of sharpness.

But even then he's still our 3rd most likely scorer behind Kane and Son. An out of sorts bale scores more than Lucas, Lamela and Bergwijn combined

No good when he plays.

Swans around looking disinterested, has lost his searing pace and is playing in a system that asks him to run hard into space on the very few occasions we actually have the ball.

It's partly on him and partly on the idiot managing the team.

Might mean they thought Martial dived, where as the other one wasn't

They already said that no evidence to suggest Martial dived.

I would think it was because the touch from Martial took the ball away from him so not a clear 1v1 with the keeper.

Sack mou bring back AVB?

Some of you guys seem really miserable.

You're most welcome to become Brighton fans so that you can have a laugh at your loses rather than your will to live.

Wasn't an overly inspiring Chelsea win and it certainly came with some nerves in the final 10 mins, but I'll happily take the 3 points and run any day of the week against one of the top 10 clubs given our form this year.

The tide definitely feels like it is slowly turning, but geez, Werner and his inability to score is remining me a lot of the desperation Torres had when he couldn't get on the scoresheet month after month.

Just watched the mini match replay, Christ Spurs looked poor, Chelsea should have won by 3 goals (at least)

Not sure if sacking Jose at this point will be of much benefit to Tottenham though
3 goals is an improvement on what Brighton should have done to us. Jose turning things around already?
