My god! Sydney we're far from full strength. We we're without a lot of our stars. Just because we had Adam Goodes and Peter Everitt doesn't mean we we're full strength! For example Barry Hall, Nick Davis, Jarrad McVeigh, Lewis Roberts-Thomson, Leo Barry, Luke Ablett and Jared Crouch didn't play and we had a couple of others in our best 22 out! sheesh

Leo Barry DID play

Jake King is a bit of a goer but the boy couldn't hit the side of the barn with his kicking today. I'd like to know from some of the Coburg watchers what his kicking is usually like. Hartigan also had a presence but his kicking also lets him down.
From what i have seen of Kingy his kicking is usually pretty good.

Right! It said on the Swans website he wouldn't be playing. If he did play, how did he go?

Don't know, I read it on the RFC site, but then again Deledio's name was spelt incorrectly too.

Forgot to mention that Fosdike was reported for an elbow/forearm to White's head behind play in the last quarter. Put White down for a while and the dirty prick should get 3-4 weeks for it. (but with the AFL who knows)

Nic Fosdike is far from a dirty prick, mate. He hardly ever gets reported. And did you see the incident? So, how can you judge what Fosdike should get?

He was at the game and just described it to us, what else you wanna know?

cmon FL, none of us knew the yorkshire ripper either, we can still judge though.......we take the incident on face value, an errant elbow to the head doesnt sound to good:rolleyes:

For what it's worth, I was at the game today (sorry for the late post) and thought our boys did very well.
cheers.

I think you guys can be reasonably happy. I wasn't taking much notice of individual Richmond players (concentrating on my own team) - though no 33 did a couple of eye-catching things, and Tambling had a few flashes - but the pressure skills were every commendable from a very young Richmond side.

I suspect the Swans could have made the scoreboard a bit more lopsided had they wanted to - and probably should given the disparity of experience out there - but fact is that Richmond hassled their way back into the game when it looked like it might become a blowout.

I thought Tambling played pretty well yesterday had some good touches and seemed to be fairly involved.

Watched Riewoldt before the game and he was very vocal and made some good leads but didnt get much of it. Even flipped the bird when a mate of mine started heckling him.

and Schulz, as far as I am concerned, is the obvious backup for Richo, should he have to take a spell, which makes one of the reasons for the Kingsley pick up looking much more shakey. With an impending operation, well, although couldn't be expected, the young draftee is naturally looking the much better option. We can only hope Kingsley does some sensational things in the 2nd half of the season, and who knows, we may even get a 2nd one out of him!

the injury is crap because now the hack has an excuse wouldve loved to see him round 1 just for the laugh

jesse white was the better option at pick 64 and then we couldve got collins or someone like that in the psd

its common sense though so i know not to expect it from rfc

Whilst i agree we would have been better off taking a kid, why do you assume Kingsley is on 8 times the min football wage? I would think he is on close to the min anyway, he came to the club and asked to tryout, we didnt go and recruit him. Kingsley is also very successful in the business world and would not be playing for money.

he is scum all he wants to do is prove geelong people wrong so why the hell would you want someone like that at the club if you want a succesfull young side in the future its a joke

i couldnt care less about the money but when people say kingsley was "cheap" well he is atleast on 150k and you better beleive it

jesse white would be lucky to be on 30k and he was a pick 79 or 80

i cant beleive we didnt get him the guy is bigger than schulz already and him and jack and cleve would of been quality

5 years down the track and people will be saying gee the swans did well picking that gun up late when other clubs had no idea and thats why they are successful

ITS NOT THAT HARD

Have to agree.
I was totally against us picking up Kingsley.
Short sighted attempt to nurse us into the eight.

Not only is white an exciting prospect for sydney but young Phillips is also.

I'd much rather us have taken an educated punt on a youngster with potential than a washed up, injury prone recycled in Kingsley.

Schulz will click this year. Kingsley was a wasted pickup.:thumbsd:

Jesse White wasn't in The Ages report for Sydneys best players.

If he is such a superstar was was he a 5th/6th round pick?

Clam down.
