Bengals hired former Tulsa running backs coach Justin Hill.
Hill, 32, spent six seasons as RBs coach at Tulsa, and will now take the same position with the Bengals. A former collegiate running back and linebacker, Hill will help coach a Cincinnati backfield that includes Joe Mixon -- who missed most of last season with a foot injury -- and pass-catching specialist Gio Bernard. The Bengals had the ninth fewest rushing yards in 2020.

Meyer is a grub, Zach Smith, Doyle, hiding drug tests, slap on wrists for guys abusing women or players. Hopefully his reign in Jacksonville ends in a heap. Dreadful appointment

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jaguars strength and conditioning coach Chris Doyle resigned.
Jaguars coach Urban Meyer hired Doyle on Thursday despite a reported track record of questionable training techniques and racist behavior. Last year, Iowa fired Doyle after sending more than a dozen student athletes to the hospital over two decades of coaching and after making a threat about sending a student athlete "back to the ghetto." Meyer "vetted" Doyle prior to hiring him this offseason, but he either glossed over his history or simply didn't care. Obviously the latter. As to why he resigned, Doyle said he "did not want to be a distraction." This is strike one for Meyer, who has brought off-field issues to each team he's been a part of recently.

I expected the Urban Myer experience to be a train wreck. but didnt expect it to start so soon. I thought there would be 1-2 years of good grace before people start calling him out and question his s**t

There you go...one of the dumbest appointments we’ve seen. Great start Urban

Its worse than that, now theres aggaravtion between hc and gm over the statement issued
i feel for the GM and rest of the FO. once they hired Myer it was done. everyone is going to be treated like they are his bitch because thats how he runs things till he runs them into the ground and then decided to take time off for his own health and never return to coaching again.

Got to feel a bit for these promising young QB's that keep getting drafted to basket case organisations. At least they have all that cash to help ease the pain.
6m over 4 years isnt much money when you think about in American pro sports.

No but add in endorsements etc & they are hardly doing it tough. & aren't no1/no2 picks on significantly more than that?

i was referring to the contract Hurts got for being picked late 2nd round

How big is that contract he got again? Hope there is a team friendly exit clause.

Jaguars hired Tom Gamble as a senior personnel executive.
The team says Gamble will assist GM Trent Baalke, who previously hired the former as a director of player personnel and assistant general manager with the 49ers, in all areas of player personnel. This upcoming year will be Gamble's 30th around the league. He most recently worked as the assistant general manager of the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes in 2020.

Washington Football Team hired Chris Polian as the director of pro personnel.
Chris, the son of Hall of Fame general manager Bill Polian, will join Washington's rejuvenated front office. Chris Polian will work alongside general manager Martin Mayhew and executive vice president of player personnel Marty Hurney to continue building a team that showed flashes of promise in 2020. Chris Polian was fired by the Jaguars after working in the team's front office from 2013-2015. His dad gave him his first NFL job in 1998 as director of pro scouting for the Colts. By 2004, he was the team's assistant general manager. Washington's front office will have to figure out what to do at QB in the coming months.
