Excellent match. Sascha gave it everything that last 25 minutes. Djoko held tough and served big at the end there. Best quality match on the men's side so far.
Bad luck Zverev, I think he would benefit from a having a sport pyschologist on his team.

Novaks serving won him that set. Never seen him serve so well.
Sascha will rue this match. Had a break and nearly a DB in both the 3rd and 4th. Should have won either of them or at least 1.

Personally I feel he opens himself up going for 200+kmph serves on break points though

That will sting for a while. Could have won that match. Set point in the 4th. Up a break in thr 3rd. Definitely a missed opportunity. But to give djoko credit, he played very well at crucial times. It was an enthralling match. Never knew what would happen next.
For sure, but he wouldn't want to be relying on someone else knocking Novak off for him.
The massive second serves is ballsy as hell, takes some real confidence.

The serves lost the break in the 3rd unfortunately. But we shouldn’t lose track that it was a great match
