I'm thinking Walsh will win it.
Finished last season on fire and seeing he will be getting more time on-ball, I have no doubt he'll do the same this year.
A JNM at 21 years old would be unreal.

In All-Australian form. I've never seen him move this well ever, to the point where he's following up contests to apply pressure at ground level.

AA judges should be ashamed.
Probably saw May had more disposals and just called it a day. Also had less possessions than Weitering, because he was doing the kick outs...

Even though missed AA team, if you were building a backline from scratch you would likely start with this guy.
He is an absolutely fantastic player. 1:1, intercepts and good with the ball. A leader.
I think he’d be close to impassable if our midfield could defend.

Watching him closely makes me feel bad for him. He beats his man and cleans up others’ mess, with sod-all help.
Agree. Lever looked good in an organised defense when he could peel off the 2nd or 3rd best forward and take intercept marks, but fell down badly when the opposition lowered their eyes or made him accountable. Swap him in our back line for Weiters and he would have been cut to pieces.
