This illustrates why pre-season intra-club games are not necessarily a predictor of talent or form.Ex-Pie and Crow in Blues' sights after kicking a bag in intraclub

I’m happy for him. He is obviously a very hard worker. Not sure who was chasing him, but the guy made Crocker look like a FerrariEx-Pie and Crow in Blues' sights after kicking a bag in intraclub

I would have liked to see Appleby play a few more games. I’m not 100% convinced he can’t make make it. He did look lost at times, but I wonder if there was a particular role he could learn to play (ie a run with player/tagger) and given a block of games in that role whether he can show what he can do.True. But I’m not entirely surprised. There were definitely moments where Crocker’s VFL form warranted senior selection... he just couldn’t impact many games at the quicker paced AFL level.
So for mine he’d be a bust at AFL level again.
Likewise FWIW I don’t think Appleby would offer anything except a ready to play, mature depth for a young North Melbourne. Another player who looked good at VFL level but struggled to impact at AFL level
But best of luck to them both.
being a 185-187cm 84kg (non midfield player) like both Crocker and Appleby are is tough in the modern game. Really need a point of difference otherwise too small to be aerially dominant and too slow to be a quick player

Dark toblerone is pretty awesome. If it's milk chocolate i don't get how anyone can enjoy anything.
Not sure if I like Toblerone.
It reminds me of a Swiss mountain.it sounds foreign to me...
I think we hold our people in too high regard (as bad as the bombers), whereby we rate them so highly on past performance and give them far too much credit and fail to review them year in year out.
And I think our recruiting department/list management is one which really escapes attention. Do we really believe they have been the best in the country over the past 5-10 years? Has the strategy been on point?
The list to me looks unbalanced. Not as bad as the bombers, but not that much better.
Easier to say backwards whilst drinking a bottle of red wine!At least we are not burdened like Richmond supporters with having to vocally support a 'Derek Eggmolesse-Smith'. No way I could bring myself to call out his name at a game.
