Why are you not sure about Mr. D Martin? At absolute worst he's gonna be a top 6-8 FWD with a average around 100. Has DPP, rarely misses games and can go huge. He's a very solid pick. Only other choice is Dunkley. It really depends on Dunkleys role. You'll want both anyway at some point.

Midfield Jackson Macrae, Patrick Cripps, Matt Rowell, Tim Taranto, Dyson Heppell, Will Phillips, Luke Pedlar, Luke Valente.
Bench Riley Collier-Dawkins, Sam Berry, Jack Saunders.

Rucks Max Gawn, Brodie Grundy.
Bench Shannon Neale.

Forward line Josh Dunkley, Dustin Martin, Dayne Zorko, Jarman Impey, Oliver Henry, Finlay Macrae.
Bench Ely Smith, Josh Treacy.

got $228k left

Thoughts???

Want Martin at some stage but nearly fully priced and would consider others.

First time poster in the fantasy boards, any suggestions I should be looking at?

feel like I might be a little light in the forwards, thinking if there’s a few mid rookies I’ll downgrade one of the mids and go another forward premo

Lukosius is going to be in every single team one day, just not sure that will be in 2021.

Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Stick to your gut as you obviously fancy a few of these players that aren’t in many teams. I prefer Ziebull to Thomas but would love to hear your thoughts as to why Thomas.
Cockatoo pretty much ruled out for round 1.
Way too much cash left over, spend it.
Think about your captain options as well.

My latest effort.

Far more classically structured than some of my reason efforts, but much thinner in the forwardline which looks to be pretty standard practice this year. I'm hoping Dunkley's reinstated in the midfield and Heeney finally has 105+ breakout year. Forward rookies should play plenty of footy. I'm a little bit hesitant on Bergman, but he's bulked up a fair bit and been flagged from a long way back.

Much prefer the look of the midfield. Two bigtime SC players in Oliver and Bontempelli, who I reckon will have a career year, and then 3 consistent point generators in Cripps, Rowell and Taranto. Heppell is pretty standard, and all rookies look like playing Round 1. Will contemplate bringing in A. Fyfe pending Treacy's debut.

Cookie cutter defence and rucks, which require no TLC.

Could easily flip and chuck some more MPP in there, but on paper it looks much better than some of the ambitious teams I've put together.

Other players I like to varying degrees/would fit in with structural changes:

Def: Lloyd, Ryan, Young, Milera, Cox, Clark, Stocker, Day, Witherden, Duggan
Mid: Parker, Gaff, Walsh, McCluggage, Steele, Cerra, Simpkin, Duncan, Hately, Daicos, Merrett, LDU
Ruck: O'Brien, Draper
Fwd: DeGoey, Rozee, Phillips, Butters, Bolton
