Time to get Leonard Williams' and Justin Simmons' agents on the line. Also sign up Richard Sherman to take on the Jason Witten mentor role.

The Bucs showed the way, get after the QB, fast and hard. Al would love what the Bucs D did to Mahomes.

Draft heavy on defense, especially quality in our LB corps.

Need another decent WR if Tyrell moves on.

Raiders will release WR Tyrell Williams next month, per source (as
@TomPelissero
said). He earned $1M guarantee but isn't fully healthy yet so Raiders need to wait until new league year to release him for cap purposes. Saves $11.6M in space

Plenty of WRs available. Or Bryan Edwards

Odds of Agholor staying have increased over the last few days.

Mariota likely to be traded soon for a day 3 pick. Raiders riding with Carr.

Trent Brown still 50/50, could go either way.
With Williams gone keeping Agholor very important. Don't have to train up someone new in what could be a covid affected off season.

I like hearing Agholor might be staying.

I like it moreso after hearing he called out the team for poor preparation and application. We need those 'grizzled veterans' to show the younger guys the way.

Agholor on offense and Sherman on defense is a sound move.

Raiders re-signed DL David Irving.
Due to suspensions and a short-lived retirement, Irving has only played 98 snaps since the 2017 season. 40 of them came with the Raiders last year. There's a theoretical ceiling to chase with Irving, but he can't be banked on as a starter given his past. The 27-year-old recently worked out with the Colts and Giants.

Raiders released WR Tyrell Williams.
Two years into his four-year deal, Williams gets the pink slip after missing all of 2020 with a shoulder injury after posting a 42-651-6 line in his first year with the Silver and Black. Williams was on a first-half tear in 2019, scoring touchdowns seemingly every week before a heel injury sapped his explosiveness. Known as "The Gazelle" in his days with the Chargers because of his big-plays, deep-threat skills, Williams will now be searching for his third team as a 29-year-old. The move saves the Raiders $10.6 million against the cap.

Last season, the Raiders were acting like a team desperate to scrounge up some pass rush, signing the likes of David Irving, Vic Beasley, and Takkarist McKinley. None of it worked.

They will need to address the position again. The first place to look would be at McKinley who spent the latter part of last season on injured reserve after being claimed off waivers from the 49ers via the Bengals via the Falcons.

If they think a healthy McKinley is the answer, it’s possible to just re-sign him and call it a day. If not, there is a good-looking group of pass rushers who could hit the market who would fit the bill.

Bud Dupree
Dupree was Mike Mayock’s second-ranked edge rusher in the 2015 draft. He would end up being drafted at 22nd overall in the first round and has put up 39.5 sacks in his six-year career. His last two seasons have been his best, with 19.5 sacks. At 28 years old, he figures to land a fairly lucrative long-term deal.

Leonard Floyd
The No. 9 pick in the 2016 draft, Floyd was Mayock’s second-ranked edge rusher in that draft. He largely disappointed over four seasons in Chicago but broke out last season after signing with the Rams. There he put up a career-high 10.5 sacks. Mayock and Gruden tend to like giving chances to former highly drafted players who they liked coming out, but who failed to live up to their draft position early on.

I tried telling you that, but you didn't want to listen. 🤗

FWIW I wouldn't go near Floyd or Dupree either. Can almost guarantee they will underperform whatever contract they are given when signing with a team like the Raiders (no other big passing rushing threat on the roster)
