The obscure XI's you've always wanted to make but never found the appropriate place thread

As an aside, an XI of cricketers who became politicians:

1. Sanath Jayasuriya
2. Gautam Gambhir
3. Frank Worrell
4. Mohammed Azharuddin
5. Arjuna Ranatunga
6. Hashan Tillakaratne (+)
7. Mohammed Kaif
8. Imran Khan (c)
9. Sarfraz Nawaz
10. Mashrafe Mortaza
11. Wes Hall

Given it's dominated by sub continental players I'm surprised that I couldn't find a front line spinner. Jayasuriya is handy enough I suppose, though

Thinking Caesar was the emperor of Rome is an easy enough mistake to make given he was the dictator of the Roman Republic for a period and in those days I don't think there was much of a practical difference between an emperor and a dictator. Also the title "Caesar" was subsequently used for Roman emperors so there can be a bit of confusion there.

But officially, no, he was never the emperor of Rome. The Roman Empire began in 27BC which is 17 years after Caesar was assassinated. The first emperor was Octavian (later Augustus).

Even if one is a bit sketchy on the specifics, a quick Google confirms everything easily enough.

He was first & set path for those to follow. Like first test cricket which wasn't listed as a test till much later.

He was a dictator, yes. He was never the emperor of Rome however.

An Eleven you may be surprised to learn have all scored a century and taken five wickets in an innings of the same game.
