Wasn't that revealing. Clip of that moment above for anyone who wants to listen.

Maybe not, but if Hawthorn are about to enter into good faith negotiations with the Tas Govt for an extension, I wouldn’t be happy if someone broke a confidence like that.

I love Don btw. He’s a sincere person, but that was pretty naive IMO. 🤷‍♂️

They had a doctor to discuss the Covid virus, I found him to be a bit of a fence sitter but he didn't really let Sam railroad the convo with his lunatic factless opinion. I don't think Sam learned anything though because he wasn't listening to the answers.
As usual Don had the comment of the podcast when Sam was saying they had a one person audience and Don goes You look like Ivan Milat!! I think he might have insulted pretty much every person who has come into the studio without even realizing it!

Yep, I also really enjoy Price telling the stories, but he really was f*cking sh!tting me by still bossing Sam around, telling him not to swear. Sam shoulda told him fa'rk right off, and I was very surprised he didn't. What a bossy, Napoleon-esque, midget dickhead. Eh, maybe he was trying to be funny.

I thought the Doc was good but not great and you are right that he kept calm when Sam added Trump to the conversation and kept referring to the doctor from that audio clip last week.

I’m behind as per usual. Just listened to the ep where Sam played the clip of the doc from Canada. I found the clip interesting. Got me thinking that Sam is skeptical of climate change ( though has softened his stance on it a touch), despite science (POV).
But cites science when talking about audio doc.

Anyone google that scientist?

How people can cite one different opinion, often with little to no offical credentials and work in an adjacent field and that would barely make up 1% of scientific consensus and then act like it’s some 50 50 debate is truly staggering.

These are the same people that despise the 'vocal minority.' You've gotta laugh.

I just heard this weeks eps, the Doc on COVID was pretty bland, although he made some good points. It really only got interesting though towards the end when they got off COVID and started talking about his dad being a horse owner and the races they won. I don't give two shits about horse racing, but the vibe certainly became more jovial.

I was interested in the Doc’s take on the much debated/controversial Hydroxychloroquine? (Trumps fav)

The doc stated he actually treated some Melbourne patients in the early days of the pandemic with it.

The conclusion was - HydroxyC possibly had some benefit if you caught the patient in very early stage of disease. However, it was effectively useless once illness became more advanced.

One funny bit about it is that it was only 3 black women

Yeah that was my understanding from what he said, that it was most effective at early the onset of symptoms.

The audio clip played by the guys of some persons at a USA socialists convention. One person asked people to keep chatter to a minimum. Another asked people not to use gendered language.

Was that legit?

Same episode as “it’s about four black women”

Enjoyed the Huddo interview. Didn't know he'd worked with Sam and Rex back in the day, would've been interesting for a young 'square' type like Huddo (with the greatest of respect) :joycat:
