Those in bold most likely to miss Rd 1 IMO, unless have a big game. Not sure who goes out for SPP.

Apparently had a good week on the track. He was seen chewing his gum ferociously each session.

Hasn't hit his peak just yet though...

How many do we want playing in there?

Wings is not really an issue at all. Most of our list play wing (Farrell, Burton, Houston, Bergman, Woodcock, Motlop etc.). We have drafted a bunch of these types of players.

I don't see enormous value in part-time midfielders outside of being burst players. If you are not playing midfield on a 80%+ basis then you will find it difficult to match up to opposition midfielders who do so.

However if lets say a Boak and SPP goes down, who's coming in to replace them from the SANFL side? Drew is one obvious option on the periphery. Who else? What even does our SANFL midfield look like this year?

And then more long term, with Boak, Rockliff and Gray nearing the end, what does the succession plan look like for our inside midfield brigade?

I was concerned mead was pulled because he was injured again. Great news.

Hartlett a worry. Mckenzie also has had no consistency for trial games. Marshall another bit of bad luck.
