Maybe I should like them more moomba, sounds like they like causing shitfights for no reason. ;)

IFAB AGM just happened.

various changes to the Laws of the Game.

In a statement, IFAB said "As the interpretation of handball incidents has not always been consistent due to incorrect applications of the Law, the members confirmed that not every touch of a player’s hand/arm with the ball is an offence. In terms of the criterion of the hand/arm making a player’s body “unnaturally bigger”, it was confirmed that referees should continue to use their judgment in determining the validity of the hand/arm’s position in relation to the player’s movement in that specific situation."

They also stated that it is a handball offence if a player

• deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball;

• touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised; or

• scores in the opponents’ goal:

* directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including
by the goalkeeper; or

* immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm,
even if accidental.

Accidental handball that leads to a team-mate scoring a goal or having a goal-scoring opportunity will no longer be considered an offence.

The change to the handball rule makes sense.

I really don't like the Wenger proposed change to the offside rule. To anyone who has grown up watching the game that instinctively looks offside. How are people running the line without the assistant of VAR (ie in 99% of games) meant to instantly judge whether the last scoring part of an attacker is behind the front scoring part of the last defender?

I think the rule should stay the same but VAR should be tweaked to get rid of the offside/onside by millimeters thing. One way would be to draw thicker lines and if they intersect then it's onside.

Bruno ain’t wrong though, he’s the one that keeps getting pointed out in big games for not performing. As a collective, we’ve been garbage against the ‘top 6’ this season, put any of our players stats up and they would all be awful, but it’s easier to just pick out Bruno.

Flexing a penalty in a 6-1 defeat and having worse stats despite saying he has good stats against the top 6 is hardly being right.

He's been really bad against the better sides.

Maybe because everything runs through him its more noticeable, but if he wants to be talked about as one of the best in the league you're standards have got to be a bit higher than "everyone else has been s**t too".
