Hello, friends. I've spent the last several months meticulously analysing the vibe of this board, and I've concluded that there's something missing. Something big. Something exciting.
Something like a re-draft game of Melbourne Football Club players from the years 1990-2020 inclusive.
In fact, something exactly like that.
I ran something a bit similar in 2015: MFC History Draft (you can also find subsequent voting here). I'm thinking it could be neat to do something similar, but only with players who debuted for the club between 1990 and 2020 inclusive - which I think totals 259 players. Maybe we could have eight teams of 22 (176 players total) in a snake format draft, considering the below:

Players are only considered on their contributions to Melbourne - so only 39 of Cross' 249 games would be considered.
THE LONGEVITY RULE
Within reason, longevity won't really be considered - so we're considering players at their best for Melbourne.

We take longevity into account, so we consider Jurrah's 36 games and 81 goals on their merits, but we also consider that he only played the equivalent of 1.5 seasons for the club.
I'm sure more rules or whatever can be fleshed out. Anybody interested? I really enjoyed the history draft and think a lot of people would enjoy this one, too!
